An excellent museum, even on an overcast Wednesday in March. Will certainly visit again.

Greatest museum in the world!!!
Must visit. First stop in Wales to see buildings from all over Wales. From thousands years old to quite modern 1980's.. They moved whole buildings brick by brick, stone by stone to rebuild them again in this location altogether with their surroundings (original fences, gardens and regional items).
Whole day is not enough to see it all. We were there from 10am to 5pm and had to return next day to see this vast area. Even more buildings are under construction...
We were speechles. Museum is free for visitors. Parking cheap £6 in April 2022.
All buildings had their staff and volunteers super knowledgeable. They exceeded our expectations answering any questions we asked for. They were genuinely happy to speak with us. We had a feeling that whole day was privately tailored for us making it very special. THANK YOU 🙏🏻😘

St. Fagans National History Museum is definitely one of the most beautiful places to visit in Cardiff and even perhaps in Wales. The nature and real life centered Welsh life museum outdoors is a great concept. Over 130 acres of land to explore. The museum itself is free, though you've to pay for parking; there is also an annual parking permit you can purchase, allowing you to do multiple visits at a cheaper parking rate.

As much as I enjoy st Fagans, i was disappointed to see that their park, just after entry, has no adaptive play. I had a little girl who could not play like her sisters and had to miss out. Quite disappointing.

Always a lovely day out.

Loads of history, loads of wildlife, a quaint little bakery and sweet shop.

Be sure to stop and take a look at nature you'll be surprised what you see when you take some time to listen and look.
