Barry Island Pay and Display Car Park

Good value for money for all day parking (£6 at time of review) compared to other beaches and lots of spaces. Good access to the beach / promenade from the car park. Doesn't seem that easy to pay by phone but parking machines on site accept card so that's ok.

It was fantastic trip and very clean beach atmosphere extraordinary. I enjoyed my day out with family. Highly recommend to visit this place

Great value for money and I like that they support paying online so you don’t have to wait in a queue at a machine. Could do with better signage for which way to walk to get down to the beach. There are paved roads but the bays are full of large stones which can make it difficult to get around with pushchairs, wheelchairs, trolleys, etc or children who often trip or stumble over them.

The pay and display car park is 2min walking distance from the Barry island beach. It’s huge so you probably will find a spot to park. They have an extended parking area that isn’t complete yet. So if you go and can’t find parking, park in the extended area. The only downside to it is that it’s soil and rocks.

The parking is cheap for its location.

if first time there showers hard to find no changing facilities parking reasonable £6 for all day the beach is tidy and clean
Bring your own food if you can take away pretty expensive almost £10 for a murky fish and chips for a family of 4 this would be almost £40.

Great location, reasonable price (£1 for 1hour/£6 for all day) but the machine yesterday did not except Apple or Google pay!!

This a big carpark which is relatively cheap. The mechines accept card payments. Charges varies on time you park. But you can park for longer time for less price.
You can access the beach from the carpark and enjoy a picturesque sunset.
