Since I spent the same amount just for an over night park in la galleria across the road and I had to get up for 08.00 to put more money on, this carpal is the one to go for if you are in the premier inn or Travelodge.

Machine only takes coins so make sure you've got change. Also expects motorcycles to have a ticket on their vehicle (instead of say entering your registration to confirm you've paid for the parking) so I'm fully expecting to come back to it with a clamp on.

Always use this car park when staying in Caernarfon, always plenty of spaces and as with all public car parks in Wales, excellently priced with full CCTV.

A great car park only a short walk from town. Beware that Google will try to take you into Morrisons supermarket car park next door.

Visited The Balaclafa Car Park on Wednesday 21st December 2022. At present the car park , like many others in the area , are Free for Christmas BUT ONLY from 10 December 2022 to 27 December from 11:00 in the morning .

The Car park is well laid out with 2 rows of spaces and a one way system around the car park. It is easily accessible with some disabled parking spaces at one end. It is an easy into Caernarfon down a ramp onto Balaclava Road . You can also access the Asda store via a walkway ( Pont Relwe) although Asda does have its own car park ( limited to 1 hour) .

Prices are unfair on Motorcycles, most places are free, but to charge over £5 a bike, when we need one parking space for 2 bikes is taking it too far.

Minimum is £2 for 4 hours, probably explains why there are plenty of empty spaces
