Great walk up the path. As the weather was closing in we went round the lake at the top. Loads of fun and great views. Path was easy to navigate and the dog found the going easy. Lots of space in the car park and decent car parking charges. Will be back to conquer the ridge next time!

An amazing place to visit with spectacular views.

Lovely carpark with lots of space, toilets and contactless parking (£3 for 4hrs or £6 24hrs)

Tarmac paved carpark and public toilet. Managed by Natural Resources Wales. Disabled get free parking with two dedicated larger spaces. Others paid parking. No overnight camping. Access from here to all walks and visitor centre housing a small cafe, toilet and information centre. Easy walk available around Lake with picnic tables. Location for Gorge Walk and walk to Penygader.

Great location with plenty of shelter for cars in summer. Toilets clean. Price to pay for parking is well worth it for keeping the location so pretty. Cafe a short walk through gates and of course the mountain walk up Cadir Idris starts from this location. Lots of walks from the car park location

Only 6.5 miles in the circle but a challenging rewarding hike, as ever be prepared for all weather, much more challenging than some of the other more popular hikes that grab all the attention. Good facilities toilets and a coffee shop at the start.

Beautiful place, parking is nice and big, has its own toilet, but a bit too expensive in my opinion. Overall worth going, great views, nice walking paths, been there many times, and definitely will come back here :) Highly recommended to anyone who's looking for a nice weekend trip with friends and family!

Best walking path for newbies. Lot of stairs initially but it gets easier higher up. Recommend to get waking sticks. Lots of sheep there as well. Lake is beautiful but avoid jumping in because of frostbite🥶. Stick to the LEFT whenever the path diverges.

Price was £6 for the day with plenty of space at 8am on a grey November morning. Ticket machine was not working on our visit as it appeared to have run out of paper.
