Delicious pastries at lunch time today. Covid measures in place. Friendly staff and lovely pastries. I had the vegan Mexican bean pasty and my husband had the extra large pasty. quick friendly service. They were very apologetic that we couldn't use their toilet and directed me to the public toilets to use. Would highly recommend popping in for a bite or getting some to take away. The sweet bakes looked amazing but we were stuffed after our savouries. They're taking part in 'eat out to help out' scheme so it was an absolute bargain for the delights that we had!

A hidden gem. The staff are soooooo kind and friendly, the selection of cakes and pasties are wonderful. We ate in and we had a very pleasant experience. Highly Recommend.

Stayed near Lyndhurst over the past week and visited Tasty Pastries most days. Best Cornish pasty I’ve ever tasted, other flavoured pasties are good too. The cakes always tasted lovely and fresh. The staff are friendly, service good. The owner remembered us after one visit which was a nice touch. Dogs allowed too 😊

Beware No Prices Displayed……
Nice food but expensive.
11/22. Update. Since leaving this review I have used several other bakeries and they have all put there prices up a lot. I would like to stress the food was good

Very tasty hot pasties, and yummy sweet treats! Everything looked so good, we struggled to choose. The staff were all very friendly and easy to talk to. There were hand sanitisers at every table, and "track and trace" QR codes to scan.

Went in today with my son. Was charged £9.55 for 2 bottles of Oasis, 2 small French Fancies and a Custard Slice. Please note this was not to sit in either but was their takeaway prices. The Custard Slice that I had was delicious by the way but had I known what I would have to part with for the pleasure, I just wouldn't have lent my custom to begin with. I saw no prices on display for their cakes and the cynic in me could maybe be forgiven that's the very reason why. Not value for money by any stretch and what would have been a very good rating has gone down to a poor one on this account. There is a possibility the assistant made a calculation error but looking at other reviews, exorbitance is a feature that seems to figure prominently. Either way the poor rating still stands. Lyndhurst is a town with an array of pleasant eateries and light bite outlets. The beauty of the surrounding area and abundant walking routes serves as a favourite location for meeting up with my son who is in his final year at university. I know that in future jaunts to there, we won't be going back to this establishment.

A cafe providing good own baked goods, such as Cornish pastry, plus many different cakes. The staff were both friendly and helpful. A good place to have lunch or pick up your lunch before going out into The New Forest or even a cake. There is inside seating as well.
