They went out of their way to meet our needs and their service has cheered us right up especially in these apocalyptic Tory (everything is a work-meeting) times. The food was tasty. A big thank you to Tom and Aisha especially. Keep up the good work!
Waited over 10 minutes in queue to be asked if we had booked our “afternoon tea”.
I replied “I called 5 times but no answer”
“Oh that’s right we have problem with our phone” they replied.
“Well please don’t ask if I’ve booked then”
Shown to our table.
It was 20 minutes before a teapot arrived on our table.
Then over an hour before the rest of the so called “afternoon tea” turned up.
People on all tables complaining about the dire service.
Two ladies sat next to us waited longer than their lunch hour before their food arrived.
The food was ok….nothing special.
The staff weren’t at all concerned adopt the delays, blaming the situation on covid and staff shortages.
Well, if you can’t cope then……CLOSE..!!!!!
plenty of people out there needing work..
Granted you need training to serve tables..
But not for clearing tables and washing up duties.
Get with it or you could be the next branch to close.
Was supposed to have been a “Buyagift Experience” .
It definitely wasn’t an experience I would like again .
Not enough staff presumably; just 2 seem to be working and they are looking stressed. Pity because last March or thereabouts it was all much better.
The shame, I would no come back.
