This church has a great atmosphere & a great welcoming warm congregation. The songs are great and the layout of the service is brilliant.

I miss this church since relocating would recommend this to anyone

I'm sure this might not be a common experience but I felt a bit pushed around. Two ladies asked me to go to the front to receive prayer for rededication assuming that I must either be a new christian or coming back to the fold, simply because I happened to visit their evening service for the very first time. I felt obliged to fill two sheets of information, the first one being the usual guest slip which I was OK with n then since I obliged to go to the front simply because the ladies JUST COULD NOT UNDERSTAND that I was neither a new christian or rededicating!!! The only reason I had gone was to pray for this kid I saw on the tube in a group at that time. I just wish people were just friendly rather than doing a complete spiritual health check up then n there.
The thing is there were questions and although I had come not intending to talk about my views about interpretations of the Bible or some of the pitfalls I observed in 'born again' Christianity in the last 15 years, the questioning got a little out of me which since I was not prepared to talk about that night (since that was not my intention) must have resulted in me not communicating properly. That resulted in me trying to explain myself. I felt that they felt that I was a backslidden christian and on hindsight maybe I sounded haughty or arrogant to them. What saddens me is that I did not have ready made honest answers for them but at the same I did not go there with the intention of teaching or explaining to anyone. I just wanted to find someone after the service (or within if it was prayer service or something) to pray for that little boy I saw on the tube for whom I felt an urgency to pray. What really happened was a lot of time wasted form filling n talking. I should have been clearer n politely refused the questions n the forms n requested prayer but I did not n I that mainly consider it my fault for not being clear.

Having said that if I was a complete new believer just entering a church for the very first time. Even if my heart was drawn to Jesus I would be REPELLED by the 'extra' effort taken by some of the well meaning ladies who were so charged up, they did not have the decency to understand what I was trying to say. Isn't it clear when the main speaker gives out an invitation to come forward? Cannot the church members RESPECT people enough and trust the HOLY SPIRIT to do his job!!! with no need for an extra push from them? I would say this kind of an experience is enough to keep people from even good respectful born again churches. It's sad really because the church will NEVER get it. It is ALWAYS supposed to be because of the Holy Spirit. Everybody has the Holy Spirit to justify every action they make.

I will not be going there again.

Hi everyone reading these comments. I went to an older people's meeting yesterday afternoon at Ealing Christian Centre. If was well worth the visit as the atmosphere of friendship, good humour and great time was had by all. Bob Seare let the afternoon session which starts at 2pm, with his anecdotes from experiences he's had following the Lord Jesus Christ and his brilliant organ playing and hymn / worship songs singing together with the people who attend. Quips and great humour shared with everyone, prayers in faith for physical healings and God's Blessing on people's lives, is followed by an invited guest speaker. This time it was Ann Mortis from Berrymead Evangelical Church which is based in Acton, London, W3. The theme was Possessing Your Possessions in Christ Jesus. Ann, as she usual approaches her teaching and preaching, gave a enthusiastic and spirit filled message to all, with humour and also experiences shared from her own life. Having been a Christian for over 50 years. She said " it doesn't matter how long you've been a Christian for, you're always learning new things from God and growing as a chrustian". "We are becoming more like Jesus every day of our lives, this is the purpose of God for us." She told everyone. It's a matter of us knowing our position in Christ, we are chosen and called out to serve the living God, in the leading and power of his Holy Spirit. The message was given with so much enthusiasm, from a woman of much experience in the lord but at the same time still learning and growing in Christ Jesus. She said "we must all be aware of what the lord has brought us into, we must know his power being expressed through us". To know Christ has overcome the evil one (the devil) who tried to bring his down, make us feel guilty before God and not worthy of God's love. She said " this is an outright lie of the devil, he doesn't want you to know the power of Christ in you" "to know the fullness of the riches we are given, if we're in Christ Jesus the lord" She finished by letting the people attending, know that she would be returning to ACC in June, to continue her theme of 'Possessing Your Possessions' in Christ. Everyone gave Ann a Big! Of applause and couldn't waitvgo hear more from her next time she came to Ealing Community Centre.

To God be the Glory for the great things he has done for us through the Lord Jesus Christ. from Berrymead Evangelical Church in Acton. Ann, Alan & Sue God Bless you all.

A Divine place of worship. Wonderful leaders and people. You are made to feel at home there and God is in control of everything there. Go and find out especially if you are homeless, jobless someone will be there to point you in the right directions, they are connected in many ways to help but through JESUS Christ first.

The best church that I have been to! People are so friendly and make you feel like part of a family. Pastors preach truthful sermons and the worship team are outstanding. Online YouTube services are worth checking out too :)

Wonderful worship! Brilliant word, so anointed the Pastor preached on evangelism. Visited twice in May and no one said hi also no-one had offering info. I asked offering-dmin staff they said check website. That was a turnoff.
Years ago the church was more friendly but we moved house.. wondered what could've happened?? 🤔
However, I love God's church.. unfortunately I don't think we'll make it our family church 😒🤔
