The Broadway Theatre is an awesome place. Went there last night for Nigerian Comedian Seyilaw's Live in London and I had so much fun. I like how simple the place looks yet so beautiful. I recommend more shows and events should be done here.

There is not a lot of parking available but once inside, the theatre is cosy but comfortable. That is, unless your seats are on either of the balconies at opposite ends of the stage (shown better in the photo attached). If you're unlucky enough to have the balcony seats, bring a cushion to ease the back pain and be prepared to watch a show with a pillar in the way.
My visit with these seats at the back of the auditorium was very pleasant and I enjoyed the show immensely. For reference, this is the view from row U.

Still can't believe our luck. Got tickets to see Lady Blackbird at the Broadway, Barking. She was stunning. Excellent new facility.

I went there as part of the school Christmas Panto trip to watch Snow White. Lovely production and fun to watch. Nice audience interaction, children very excited to have been after Covid, it was a lovely treat from the Headteacher. Really nice theatre, easy to get to through the market from Barking Station. Very spacious inside, suitable for children and families, seats are comfortable. Plenty of space in the reception area. Staff friendly and welcoming.

1st time visiting this theatre. Went to see Snow White. Sat in row P, was like being in a box. Could see perfectly. Thoroughly enjoyed the show. It was my granddaughters 1st panto. She's 2 and got fully immersed shouting "it's behind you" and booing the step mother once she realised what was going on. A great visit.

1 rude staff with glasses and very short hair, didn't really get the name. Has a bad attitude towards work, maybe she is not happy there and it reflects in the way she speaks with people.
Not being able to take photos or record my child performance not good as well. Having to pay for the photographer pictures wich makes no sense. Just to take more money from people.
Toilets were not clean properly as well.
Some chairs in the theatre room had holes.

Nice theatre, staff are great inside regarding phone use, and we're constantly asking people not to video, bar needs more staff for interval, 1 man who knew what he was doing, 1 more was far too slow!

Gave a 4 as the venue is great.. see panto there and was well worth the ticket price.. loses 1 star because £10 for 2 pints of coke is extortionate.. we come from a poor borough and that is simply wrong on all levels.
