I have been seeing Beatrice for around two years, initially for sports massage to keep me conditioned for running, then for personal training with a focus on running, Sessions are fun, with a lot of variety to keep you motivated and give great results, they're individually structured. Beatrice is an awesome motivator and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of training, health and fitness. The studio is lively and a fun place to exercise, but with quiet spaces for focussed training. I can thoroughly recommend Beatrice, either to start you on your road to fitness or to take you to the next level.

MYPT is a wonderful, non-judgmental place and Beatrice is a great personal trainer. She always finds suitable exercises for me and I enjoy our sessions. She keeps me going!

Fantastic sports massage service. Managed to work away all my muscular aches and pains from my workouts and stationary desk work each time.

Highly recommend.

Beatrice Schaer is an incredible PT who has helped me in improving my strength, running training and diet. I used to be intimidating by weight training but it has swiftly become one of my favourite things and I love how much stronger and healthier I am. Ultimately though Beatrice has been instrumental to my completing a half marathon with a 10 minute improvement on my PB and I am now working with her towards completing my first marathon. She creates a programme that is unique to you and your abilities and I actually enjoy going to the gym. Highly recommended.

I have worked with Beatrice Schaer for about 3 years. Ever since I pulled my left hamstring in a 100m sprint race. Bea quickly diagnosed that my glutes were not firing correctly, so set me exercises to correct the problem.

Since then, Bea has helped to improve my strength, mobility and speed.

My deadlift and squat are both up to 60kg and I am looking forward to competing in my first indoor 60m sprint, in February.

Not bad for someone 65yrs old!

Thank you Bea!

I was very lucky to work with Bea after winning a training plan in a local race. I was coming back from 6 months of no running due to plantar fasciitis and wanted a running goal to focus on that was about trying something new and not just about speed.

Bea helped me prepare and set goals for my first half marathon. Her training meant we built up slowly and focused on staying fit and healthy, even when I was ill or had a bike accident (and reassuring me that rest days are important too)! The flexibility involved in the plan and the fact that she was always willing to help sort out any problems I had made me confident I was still completing solid sessions, even when events out of my control affected training.

I really enjoyed the strength elements of the plan too, which complemented the running and meant I stayed injury free! It was all tailored to my injury history and focused on my weaknesses.
My plan and her belief in me meant I beat my target time of 1.35 by almost 2 minutes! I would recommend working with Bea to anyone that wants to improve or have a structured plan to work to! Thank you!!

As a keen runner and cyclist I knew in the back of my mind that I should probably do some strength training, but never really got round to it. I was diagnosed with osteopenia and that was the moment I decided that I had to take strength training more seriously…if only I knew where to start…

That’s where Bea came in; she focussed on my diet, gave 1:1s with the right amount of challenge and wrote useful training plans. It’s been a real voyage of discovery. I could hardly lift a 6kg kettlebell when I started, but 11 months on I have progressed to 55kg squats.

I really recommend training with Bea. She is professional, has lots of pearls of wisdom from her own experiences (duathlons, marathons, ironman, powerlifting) and has great attention to detail to help you reach your goals. I never thought I would enjoy strength training but that’s what comes with having a great PT!
