I started PT with Robbie and joined the HIIT classes with Demi in mid 2021 as a way back into fitness after lockdown, and am not only loving it, but really seeing and feeling the difference in my weight, fitness and strength as well. The HIIT classes are intense and well tailored, and Demi is really helpful with advice on form, and decreasing or increasing the weights / reps / exercises as we move through depending on the day, and any niggles or weaker points.
I couldn’t be happier with the PT sessions with Robbie - I started off wanting to get fitter and more toned, and he tailored a full body programme for me. After several sessions, and feeling the overall benefits, I asked if we could focus on some strength training, as I couldn’t do a proper push up and wanted to be able to do a pull up - and I can now do 30 push ups and am well on my way to pull ups. I then had the opportunity to head to Tanzania to climb Kilimanjaro, so asked Robbie to again tailor the programme to a mountain climb and he obliged, we focused on my leg strength and endurance - and I successfully summited 😊
He is friendly and approachable, but also has the tough love approach to push you when you need it. I wouldn’t have achieved the results I have without the team at Body Balance and would highly recommend them.

I am a keen cyclist and swimmer but herniated a disc in my back about 12 months ago. After some long rehab I felt like some strength conditioning would get me back to where I wanted to be as well as try to protect me from back problems in the future. Going for a PT session can be pretty daunting, especially with an old injury but from the first time I spoke/met with Robbie it was clear he listens to his clients and tailors his plans to match their goals. Even after the first set of sessions I felt stronger, had better posture as well as beating a few PBs from before I was injured!
I totally recommend Robbie to anyone wanting to get some professional and considered personal training, whether you’re a fitness fanatic or just wanting to get a healthier conditioned body, Robbie will help you reach your goals, as well as keep you away from the doctor!

Well, 2022 has been a year of running marathons for me, with that in mind I needed some how not to just run with my training but also build my strength up. This meant going to the gym, which i'm not good at. But a PT motivating me might work, this is where Robbie has come in, With the programs he has set (and changed to keep them fresh) has seen a great change in My strength and core. I'm off to the NYC Marathon this weekend and hope for a PB.
Thank you Robbie for the guidance, motivation and encouragement that i'm sure will help me get round those 26.2 miles.

Robbie is a great personal trainer, he continues to upgrade the programme to meet my needs. I really look forward to my sessions and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a personal trainer!

Robbie is an incredibly knowledgable and professional PT. Plans are tailored to exactly what you need and take into considerations any goals and injuries. I can’t recommend it enough. There’s nowhere else you’ll get personalised personal training like this.

Robbie is just the BEST personal trainer. He keeps you on track with your goals and is lovely, warm, funny and just generally a top bloke.

I started training with Robbie not that long ago having never had a personal trainer before and he has been great. He is really helpful, understanding and supportive of whatever you want to achieve or whatever your fitness goal is with no judgement and loads of positive encouragement! I would definitely recommend.

The HIIT class with Demi is great. It is a good mix of cardio and core. After my first class I felt like I couldn’t have done another round but recovered fine so I think it was just right for me. The small size of the group means that any form needing correction is quickly done.

I love that it isn’t a full hour so can get home, get a shower in, eat my dinner and be on the sofa by 9pm!
