Carmel was my first (and only) Personal Trainer, she was very good at explaining how it would work, what I could expect and what she would expect from me. I've not been a great fan of exercise but she motivated and inspired me and I saw great results. The sessions were varied and fun, and she pushed me beyond where I could have got myself. I was stronger, fitter and looked better (lots of people said "Wow have you been going to the gym?"). Carm helped me with my diet, which also had a big impact.

Carmel was recommended by my physiotherapist as part of my rehab plan (recovering from a shoulder operation). Given the complicated nature of my injury, I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of work we were able to do. I came away with much improved fitness and strength in my legs etc., which I was very pleased by considering how long I had been idle for. Carmel is also very professional and communicative when it comes to organising sessions and exercise plans. Even with Covid-19, Carmel cleaned every piece of equipment before and after use right up until we were no longer able to train in the gym and for lockdown I was given the option of PT services via Skype. Carmel is a great PT who will get you results and make the process enjoyable while doing so. I have seen countless professionals over a three year period with my injury, and Carmel was the first person to check in with me to see how I was doing, which is an indication of the care you will receive with Carmel as your PT.

Carmel's classes have changed my life.

I used to be really sporty and active, but, like a lot of women, had kids and things changed for a few years (more than a few years!)

I was really apprehensive about getting back into exercise again, but Carmel is the best. She pushes you, but never makes you feel bad about yourself - always encouraging you to keep going and don't stop.

Carmel is mindful of people's injuries and will always plan for different moves where you may struggle with one.

In a nutshell, Carmel is a great trainer, listener, human being, good soul and she has the best music, so I hope she keeps training forever!

I would strongly recommend Carmel's classes to people of any level!

I absolutely love my PT sessions with Carmel. Every session is different to keep it interesting and exciting. Carmel is always so positive and encourages you to go the next step when you think you can’t. She always listens and taylors the session to suit your needs.
She’s a great Personal Trainer and a lovely person to get to know. Would highly recommend her without a doubt.

Carmel is an amazing trainer with great sense of humour so every session is filled with laughter and her positive attitude will make you want to work out even harder. Carmel is very professional and so knowledgable she will definitely help you to achieve your goals!
Carmel’s classes are such a part of my life now I get withdrawals if I can’t go.
I couldn’t recommend Carmel more, give it a go I promise you won’t regret it!

I started having PT with Carmel in late 2017 and am still training with her over 2 years later. I have been a PT client, joined her Total Fitness classes in 2019, and joined in her classes at the gym. She has always kept the workouts varied and progressive, changing depending on my goal (weight training, wedding dress training and then early stages of pregnancy). She cares a lot about all of her clients and really motivates, takes on feedback but most importantly for me, has become part of my lifestyle that I really enjoy.

I cannot recommend fitness fundamentals enough, classes are varied and professional. Carmel is in really knowledgable and ensures all exercises, are correctly positioned and tailors for those that need.

All classes are engaging, enjoyable, but tough. I have been attending classes for a couple of years now and seen such an improvement in my fitness and ability.

I couldn't possibly thank or praise Carmel more. I contacted FF via a local gym, who recommended Carmel as a PT who would fit my fitness & medical needs.
