It’s pretty rare that I’m so impressed with the service I’ve received but I would whole-heartedly recommend Nick - I’ve been singing his praises to people who don’t even have any pest issues! We had a problem with mice and had spent hours reading reviews of various companies online and just couldn’t find any with consistently good reviews. We were feeling totally hopeless until some local friends recommended Nick and we are so grateful they did - he managed to fit us in the next day, did a really thorough job very quickly and has been back twice to double-check the issue has been fixed. On top of doing an excellent job he is perhaps the nicest man I’ve ever met, and so friendly and polite. Really good value compared to most of the other companies we found, too. I would recommend him without hesitation.

We had a problem with a squirrel/squirrels getting into our loft, and
after searching online we found Steel Guard.
Nick came over and evaluated the problem and with his help and advice we no longer have a problem.
The rates are good and Nick is very knowledgeable, professional and polite. I would definitely use Nick/Steel Guard Environmental again if needed and can't recommend them highly enough.

Nick was fantastic - excellent value, polite and professional. He fixed a mouse problem that we'd struggled to sort ourselves. He found a way to have his visits work around our timetable before we rented our house out. He also sorted my parent's house out too. Will certainly use again if I ever need to.

I used Steel Guard to remove squirrels from my loft. Nick replied to an enquiry and came the next day he was prompt and worked around me. The squirrels were living in our chimney arches, Nick used a extra long ladder to put mesh in their living area (chimney arch) so new squirrels cannot use the area for nesting. It was a shock to discover bed bugs. I steam cleaned everything but didn't get onto the nooks and crannies, so they were still there. I contacted Steel Guard Environmental via Bark, one of three companies on a Sunday night and after speaking to Nicholas from Steel Guard early Monday morning we made an appointment for 10am. He was professional, empathetic and reassuring.. He made an appointment for the second treatment two weeks later. He replied to my anxious texts politely. Nick is extremely friendly and professional. Have had an ongoing issue with carpet beetles and moths and last year Nick helped tremendously in our efforts to eradicate. Not quite there yet but hope with his continued assistance this can be sorted. Thoroughly recommended as Nick goes above and beyond in trying to ensure his clients are satisfied.
