Home From Home Dog Boarding

Booking was easy and a match was found quickly for our dogs first stay away from home without our family. Linda was the perfect match and she sent plenty of photos , took our took for lovely walks and he was clearly very relaxed and happy in Linda's company. We felt happy and relaxed knowing he was in Linda's safe hands and wouldn't hesitate to leave him with Linda and use this service again.

I paid by deposit as agreed before I had the opportunity to meet the person they thought was suitable to care for my dog strange but I agreed. Once I met the person I was utterly disappointed the home was dark dingy with a dirty old stained sofa a tv on the floor and a bed in the living room! my dog who would normally be running around and excited did not leave my side and showed no signs of interacting with the dog sitter. Obviously I would not leave my dog there and emailed home from home the next day asking for a refund, someone called and they said they would do a refund a week later I have no refund. I also asked when they had visited the home as they claim they do, I was told when she registered which was about 20 years ago, I was also told they had not had any feedback like this before. I have previously used Rover and honestly say they beat this company hands down I will be returning to them its worth little extra for piece of mind.

We've been using Home from Home since 2013 and our dog just enjoyed another stay with some amazing & caring hosts. Our dog is blind and yet we feel totally happy using this professional service, he loves his visits. Thanks again!

Taking Cassie to meet her carer and check out her ‘holiday home’ was a great experience and allowed us all to feel happy that she’d be in good hands.

While we were away, our carer kindly shared daily photos of Cassie and told us of her adventures. This was a lovely touch, and especially reassuring for our kids who looked forward to hearing from her each day!

Really happy with the service from all the staff in the office, and also our friendly carer who loved having Cassie and treated her as her own. We were so worried about leaving her and didn’t want to use kennels but we have definitely found the perfect solution in Home-From-Home and have already made our second booking.

We have found a wonderful family through Home from Home who have looked after our dog multiple times now. He always has a great time with them and is so well looked after. We get updates of him out on walks and having cuddles by the fire. He comes home not at all anxious and having had a brill few days. The Home from Home team are really friendly and the booking process is really efficient. I also think it’s a reasonable price comparable to other options we looked at. We’ll continue using Home from Home and would recommend to anyone who is keen for their dog to have a comfy stay in a home environment

Our older dog Toby has stayed with Theresa twice now and he loves it. He was happy to arrive at her house and pleased to see her again. Just as the first time he stayed, Theresa made she she knew all his information so she could look after him as well as possible. When we said goodbye to him we knew without doubt that he would be well looked after, and he was. We can’t thank Theresa enough for taking such good care of Toby.

Second time using Home to Home and it has been a great experience. Excellent service, friendly and lovely carers. Very efficient at finding matches and helpful with enquiries. Also, such an ease of mind when Kerry our career for our Coco sends us updates and videos everyday. We are able to enjoy our holiday with no worries knowing Coco was getting all the attention while we were away.
