Alternadogs

I used the pick up service and it was a very warm welcome which put me at ease as my Westie is 14 years old and needs extra time to be groomed as he needs regular breaks which was provided by Alternadogs also water was provided for him at regular intervals. They did an excellent job on him with very high standards. Will definitely be taking him there again as this is an excellent grooming parlour with that extra special personal touch.

Would highly recommend Danny and Kat we live in St Helens and we travel to Colwyn Bay to have our cockapoo Jackson groomed I wouldn't go anywhere else. Jackson loves them and we love them they are the nicest people you will ever meet they care about their dogs and the dogs they groom. Ignore the haters alot of people will keep coming back because you are amazing groomers and amazing people.

Amazing place. Love the owners. Always treat my little pomeranian with love and respect. I know that they do a good job because she always comes out happy! When shes a nervous dog - that's a big deal!

We started using Alternadogs when they first moved in to Colwyn bay. We always used to try and do our nervous whippet cross' nails at home, because she just did not like her feet being touched. Now its the only place we go. They are calm, patient, and very reassuring, if it takes 5 minutes or 20. Love love love the new location, with the spa and cafe, top notch facilities, and just two really nice people! Can't reccomend them enough ^^

We took our Bichon Olly to be cut here today, we asked for the Bichon style with a full head.
Olly is almost 6 and we have always had him cut every 10 weeks, we were lucky enough up until July to have an excellent groomer who has unfortunately changed her career.
This guy was recommended to us, he charged £37 which is over priced for a small dog.
Today when we went to collect Olly we were instantly not happy with his cut, he has never been cut so short and under his neck is half shaved. We will not be returning to this place again and would defenatly not reccomned them to anyone.

Always a pleasure to bring Buster in for a groom, time is taken to make him less anxious, gone from having to be muzzled to standing quietly for them. Lovely to see him sat on Danny's knee last time having a fuss, truly a caring partnership with the dogs interst paramount, lovely friendly couple can't recommend enough, Buster always looks super and feels happier after his visits.

Very good, friendly, caring service. My dog doesn't like to have his claws clipped but he was made to feel at ease and only had the necessary ones done, so not overcharged either.

This couple put the welfare and comfort of the dogs they groom first at all times, they always do a fantastic job on our much loved dog so much so I do a round trip of almost 100 miles to have him cut by these wonderful people.
