Ace ace you can take your dog in to. Look round ..the vets is naff in there though . Reception women very rude use the one on garstang rd next to jewish cemetry over the years including milly iv had 4black labs and garstang has looked after each of them .cried my eyes out when they go if u own a dog you will understand when i say better than humens.iv put a few pictures on of millies mates who she plays with.

I took my little girl here to look at the fish and get some info on keeping them as pets, thinking of getting her a small tank. The man I spoke to was so helpful, we spoke about tank sizes, which fish would be best for us etc. He was so knowledgeable and friendly, and he gave me some leaflets to go away with. Wish I could remember his name, but he did let us get this picture so we could remember the fish name for next time

Smaller than other stores in the area, but the store is always well presented, clean and tidy. They lacked a number of items such as food and treats in the puppy and dog section when I visited on a Mon afternoon, therefore rated 4*. It could be that items are difficult to access since brexit or that they were due a delivery.
Staff are always very helpful, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They work hard and everyone of them is a credit to the store, which I highly recommend.

Friendly staff who directed you to the appropriate area of the store without pressurising you. The store was well stocked and I managed to get the treats for cats and dogs.
The cashier was polite and engaged in light conversation. A really great store with a welcoming air.

The team here are the best, even for general advice or problems you might be having with your pet; the team advise on products and what to do.

Pets at Home will forever have my custom.

I'm not sure his name, but the geezer today (29th of August) he's always been super helpful. If I see his name tag next time, I'll update accordingly.

Absolute awful experience. Went in today at 3pm to get my dog groomed. Two ladies who traumatised my puppy, as soon as I took him in one just took the leash off me and literally put my pup in to the wash room. My dog made a crying noise , so I asked if they will be a little gentle with him. When he finished the two ladies came over and said we couldn't dry him as he wouldn't sit down . He had been there before a couple of times and the young gir who normally grooms him actually like dogs and talks to him too. But these two ladies were awful. Not just by pulling him or covering all the services we paid for, couldn't wait to leave as it was few minuets left till closing. My advised would be to pay any other dog Grooming place then pets for home. My dog is left scared and traumatised.

I came in with my new little Dachshund today. I had amazing help of staff. So much positive reinforcement for the wee man! Great advice and help from all. Thank you for such a positive first PAH trip with Maverick :) x

My friend's dog had grooming appointment. During the grooming session, the groomer nipped the skin on the neck of the dog that required stitching. It wasn't a good experience. Groomers supposed to be trained?
