Originally I went to a large chain of builder store but it was closed! I ended up at The Hide as I remembered my Grandad used this small independent shop. I'm glad to say I ended up here, as it was the perfect place to get EVERYTHING I needed! The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, I was happy with each and every product I brought. Great quality and a personal touch of community friendliness while in there.(even when I managed to knock items from there shelves carrying my conduit through the shop) I would recommend The Hide to everyone regardless of any big chain of merchants being open. 5*****

The shop that does everything. Those little bits that you can't really find anywhere else. If in doubt try this shop. A massive range of items always available and at a reasonable price. The staff are always helpful and happy to give advice. Will and have returned. Great shop. Support the small business.

Good selection of tools once the supply chain opens again. One of the few places you cans till buy ironmongery, screws, bolts, etc. on an as needed basis, rather than in over priced packs.
