Pets at Home Newport

Took my bearded dragon Tango here last week to get him a new bulb...
Was like he was famous 😆
He is gorgeous tho & loves attention so all good.

Visited on 4/11/22, Chelsey was absolutely incredible. Went completely above and beyond to help us with anything we needed, was so attentive and kind. She provides absolutely amazing customer service - I’ll definitely be coming back to this store just because of her!

Bought a kitten and I was clueless as to what I needed. The staff were friendly went through everything I needed. The best of all was that staff advised to register my kitten online with their pet store app and I received 40% discount.
This is my go to pet store.

They haven't always got all the stock in that I'm after.
But they don't seem to be on there own anymore.
But all the staff are very accommodating, helpful and polite.
And I do like the fact that when I turn up at the precise moment they close...... which is often!!
They always let me in without rushing me around to chuck me back out again.
And they always explain everything clearly and like they actually know what they are on about
And that in itself is a dying trend nowadays.
They have the personal touch!

Came in for replacement water bottles on NYD after one of ours broke the day before, there seemed to be plenty of stock in store in general. Cute animals, the advertised workshops seem like a good idea

Lovely clean store. Very pleasant staff that's only too willing to answer any questions or offer advice. Pleasant experience and i will continue to shop there for my pugs.

Absolutely brilliant staff & manager second to none helpful nothing too much trouble very experienced at what they do would not go anywhere else

I've been a customer since 2000. Sadly, these lot always have and sell you Ill fish, when I told the staff some of them don't look well, I don't want it, just pick out the healthy ones, and she still gave me 1 ill fish. To much surprise it died the next day! Frustrating! This happened a few times and I never learnt my lessons on checking the fishes after they've been caught! You should always, always do that! Sadly I came home with a fish on its death bed!
I noticed it wasn't well straight away at home!
