First time I have visited this place and it seems to have everything in this store a very clean shop great staff very helpful and fair price definitely worth a visit

My favourite place for all my pet needs....much better than any supermarket or discount store. Lots of choice, great prices, lovely staff and ample parking.

Extremely disappointed with the service offered today at Alpa Pet Warehouse. After entering alongside my dog, he did a wee inside the shop. This is extremely out of character for my dog, however isn’t uncommon for any dog in pet stores due to the high volume of dogs who have visited and done the same. After this, I was taken back by the rude, angry and overall disgusting way in which the staff reacted and began to raise their voice towards me. I do not believe this would have happened to me if I was their age and do think it was mainly them wishing to belittle me and assert their higher importance to someone younger. Despite apologising for the dogs mishaps, we were told to leave the shop, causing them to miss out on a sale. I do acknowledge that they have to maintain the cleanliness of the shop and will have to put their foot down when necessary, but I feel this could have been dealt with much nicer and in a much less intimidating manner. A real shame to let down the countless other times I have gone here, safe to say I won’t be returning now! Wish I could give 0 stars!

I'm a regular here, buy all my dogs food, treats and gear here, along with wild bird feed and accessories. Excellent pricing. Friendly, obliging staff.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Wish I'd found it yrs ago. You can see the genuine care of animals in the staff, they know your pet, their food not just brand but flavour and breed size. Old fashioned personal service and knowledge of the customer, absolutely fantastic. 6 yr old frenchie with food and skin allergies we've battled with for yrs, tried all the expensive brands to no avail, spoke to 1 of the gentleman here, went straight to a particular food, improvements after a month, 6months later like he has no allergies, skin and fur in excellent condition.
Really appreciated that he didn't go straight to the expensive ones (tried and failed but usually 1st thing they push in pet stores) but to a mid range that he thought was the best choice for my dog not the till. Bit hard to find 1st time if you don't know red scar but well worth finding. Would definitely recommend. Not your average pet store.
