Awful service. The woman in charge had a terrible attitude towards her clients which made me cautious about leaving my dog, unfortunately I had no other choice. After picking her up, again all we received was bad attitude and my dog has lost a lot of weight, this could be due to her being nervous. I had text the woman half way through my holiday to check if she was okay and she claimed that she was abseloutly fine, eating well and getting on with the other dogs. This was all lies. Now my dog is very nervous and obviously hasn't had a good experience. Won't be using again under any circumstances, very disappointed.

Always friendly service and happy to accommodate different dates and times as needed. Our dog always seems to enjoy her time here and is happy to go back.

I rang up during Covid to enquire if the facilities were open and I was greeted with possibly the worst customer service I have ever received. The woman on the phone displayed the most disgusting attitude and very argumentative behaviour. When I asked if she had a rough idea of when she may be starting up I was greeted with “do you know when COVID will finish” and her raising her voice stating “she is the only person working so what did I want her to do”. I would have quite simply have accepted an “we are closed during COVID, I’ll take your name and number and get back to you when we are operating again”

I will not be contacting this venue again, if the only staff member can speak to the owner in such a manner it does not bare to think about how she treats the animals.

I phoned Durham K9 Hydro Rehabilitation centre during their published opening hours to inquire about their various programs and pricing etc. I had the misfortune of speaking to a very rude woman who answered the phone with an immediate rude aggressive tone and then told me she couldn't speak to me and promptly hung up on me. Having now read some other reviews of this place I can see I'm not the only person to have encountered this rude behavior.

What is the point in being rude to potential customers for no reason? Do you really think that will help promote your business? A simple "sorry I'm unable to talk right now" would have been sufficient. In the future if you are too busy to answer the phone, then don't answer the phone and certainly try to reframe from being ill-mannered. Not only is it bad for business, but if nothing else you should have learnt basic common courtesy before dealing with members of the public (or really anyone for that matter).

Based on that I personally wouldn't feel confident in using Durham K9 Hydro Rehabilitation Centre. I couldn't trust my dogs care with someone who can't even form a simple polite sentence and doesn't behave in a professional manner.

All my dogs past and present have went here for about 10+ years. Jan is fantastic with my 5. So good in fact I don't think they want to come home. Huge enclosed paddock, heated huge kennels. Can't recommend enough.
