What an absolute joke of a company! Sent incorrect product. Claims its to do with seasonal conditions of the product. lol They have deliberately torn the word "small" off the product label as the product was sold as large. I was actually reordering the same product i had had from them before. I have spoken to their supplier this morning and they have confirmed they have the standard large seed in stock and that i was sold the incorrect product. luckily you can buy bird seed direct from aejames.com website so no need to deal with these jokers.

16 days to arrive, only one rude and unhelpful response to emails. No apology. They stopped replying after my first email, so it seemed that the goods were lost. Finally I asked Amazon to refund me and they did so the very morning of the day that the goods finally arrived. The seller emailed me minutes later advising me, without any precursor, that keeping goods without paying for them was theft. What an attitude! When I objected to their style of communication, it continued. I asked for a written apology before reversing the refund and they could not bring themselves to do even this, then threatening legal action. One of their emails included this:

You have received goods that you've not paid for - that is dishonest

Our attitude to 'customers' who actually PAY for their orders may be different

One star is generous. The woman who runs this shop is rude and vile. The absolute opposite of an ‘animal person’. I had a disgusting experience with a stony faced, rude and unhelpful woman who would evidently prefer to be doing something else. A shame as it’s a local shop that I would like to support but I can absolutely see why other reviews are so poor. I will not be returning and would advise any other pet owners to avoid!

Ordered cat food through amazon on 20th Feb and still hasnt arrived!! DHL tracking just keeps saying its still in transit even though delivery date has well gone past. Will be requesting full refund through Amazon as ordered through a reputable company now with next day delivery!!

Awful service, awful people. I remember why I don’t go here anymore. Try any other pet shop unless you want abuse. Also remember they had their pet licence revoked. Can’t imagine why

Terrible customer service rude swears at customer's get orders wrong lies about products and then say they don't sell what you ordered but are quiet happy to charge more than standard price then give you wrong item . STAY AWAY

Interesting polarisation of past reviews but I have to take as I find. I was only looking for advice and was upfront about the reason when I popped by. The shop manager was extremely helpful and spent a good 20-25 minutes taking me through all the complications of raw dog food. As a new owner I had some pretty dumb questions but I didnt get the sense at anytime that I had outstayed my welcome. The Owner clearly had a depth of experience (with dogs at least) and was happy to guide me. I would be surprised if you get that level of service in Pets at Home etc but it is a relatively small shop, heavily stocked so if room to push your shopping trolley is a priority, its possibly not the shop for you?
