One star si too much! Really dirty, they don’t take care of the fish, overcrowded fish tank. Dead fish was left in the tank also.
Told to the employees that the fancy goldfishes had pinecone disease and I’ve been told that this is how they are supposed to look like.
Place should be closed down.
Staff didn’t cared I was a customer, had to go and ask them to come 3 times.

Terrible. Shocking. Utterly Sad

This used to be one of the best places in London to buy pet fish at when I was younger which was over a decade ago!

Now its almost run down and has a post-apocalyptic vibe. The tanks are dirty, lighting is dark and dingy and the customer service is terrible. Before going back I always check reviews. When I saw the reviews on it being disappointing it bought a tear to my eye to know my favourite childhood store had been seen in this manner. I saw pictures of the tanks and thought it must not be true.

Unfortunately it is true, I went there myself and saw the state of the tanks with my own eyes. I also note a number if reviews questioning this and they retaliate by saying they are renovating. Even if we excuse this, the customer service was terrible.

Not a single greeting or ‘how can we help?’ ! Not to mention several fishes that are damaged. I saw one gentleman eating on his phone instead of accommodating customers. The only verbal conversation that comes from their mouth is a price tag! I also saw a packet of walkers crisps lying on the floor! It supports why the tanks remain dirty! There are even several areas of the store with mould!

In conclusion, this has become a disappointing store to buy fish from. Much better customer service and quality from Pets at Home where they actually maintain their tanks to a great standard, don’t over price fish and are enthusiastic about people wanting to buy fish.

I don’t usually write reviews but felt the need to express this so no-one else wastes there time and perhaps the owners try to use it constructively instead of reacting badly ? Who knows? Only time will tell.

This used to be one of my favourite aquariums as a child. Was really excited to visit recently but really disappointed with how down hill it’s gone. There used to be a beautiful marine aquarium as soon as you step in on the right. The beta fish all look sad and unwell. Sad sad sad

This store is by far one of the most exciting aquatics store I have been to and I have been to a few around London. They have absolutely everything and some really great stuff in both equipment and live stock.
I would have bought everything if I had the space. The fish were in great condition and in all sizes. I'll be visiting many times, I'd recommend you do too!

Small friendly family run fish shop. Probably one of the cheapest (price wise) aquatic stores around. Everything has gone up in price everywhere we go. Lets sport this family run business through these tough times.

Best Aquatic Shop in London. This place is located on Romford Road, Monor Park. Free parking outside, pay and display nearby, 5 minute walk from Manor Park Station. A huge range of:
- tropical fish
- sea water fish
- turtles
- coral
- crabs
- fish tanks
- cleaning liquids
- fish food and autofeeders
- filters and pumps
- tank decoration items
- all accessories

The list is endless and so is the choice. The most impressive thing about this 30 year old family business is the knowledge. The owner Dee really knows his stuff. He has a passion for water creatures and will give you the best advice.

Please visit this place before you decode to buy any fish, you will be impressed.
