Great pet shop with friendly and informative staff. Have been getting my pet supplies from there for years and they are sold at competitive prices compared to the big chains. Support your local, independent stores!

Do not buy any of the cages from this store. They are all unsuited for any of the animals they market them towards. Please do research online before purchasing any animals and ensure you have the correct living space for them - there are specific sized cages all animals should be living in and all the cages in this store are far too small! It is just cruel to house an animal in cages like this. The fact they offer a tiny rat starter kit (which isn’t suited for even one rat - which you should buy in pairs as they’re social animals) comes with sawdust is baffling to me. Do not get sawdust for rats!!! They should not offer this.
I also received no information about the purchase of my hamster when I went in, luckily I have had hamsters for many years and know what I’m doing but this could cause issues for a first time buyer.

Being a regular customer of this pet store with very friendly and helpful staff who are very good at at getting any item you want at short notice it's just pleasant to drop in for a chat 😀

Absolutely fab shop amazing prices and get most of my dogs treats and toys from here. Find the staff so helpful and have all the time in the world for you.

Went in to look at rats, we decided to get the last 3 female rats only for them to not give us any information about how to look after them after we told them it’s our first time having rats. They then asked if we had any cage, which we said we would buy at another store as the only cage suitable for rats that we saw in store was too small for them, yet the LITTLE pen they keep them in is barely suitable for them as it is. When we said we would take them they then proceeded to grab them by the tail WHICH YOU SHOULD NEVER DO!!! After all this and buying our rats (which are scared of human touch, no wonder why…) we went to another pet store and got all information and gear we needed! Only time i would go again is to get those poor pets from the place.

Okay purchased my two rats with my daughter Jessica - Ben & George and have been so happy with the professional, friendly service also I have covid again. So I called in sheer desperation because I'm low on everything and I have had to bulk order to last me but they are delivering for my rats!!! To me this is why I go local for the extra service that only these guys can provide and yes it has cost me £37 but its best spent because these two are family.

My Fish tank pump failed at the weekend. On Monday I rang and was able to go straight round there (as they are allowing customers in as it is an essential business). They were very helpful and I was able to get a new pump straight away rather than trying get one on the internet and having to wait days for it to arrive.

Fantastic staff always willing to help. Plus good quality accessories for your pet and not expensive , all there pets for sale are healthy and well looked after.
