Tesco Pharmacy

Absolutely disgusted with the dreadful service. Unfortunately I had to get my prescription quickly for an ear infection, otherwise I would have fulfilled it elsewhere. Waited in the queue for nearly half an hour to hand it in, there were lots of staff behind the counter, but most of them were faffing around, chatting, getting in each other’s ways, and only 2 serving! Was told it would be an hour, so I hung around waiting, then had to wait nearly 15 minutes again to be served. Finally got to the counter, had to wait another 5 minutes while they looked for my prescription, then I was told that they didn’t have one of the items! I questioned this, and told the staff member that I needed both the items, and was told it was okay because they did have some of the tablets in, just that they owed the remainder. I was also told, not asked if I could go in the next day!! So went home looked in the bag, and there were none of the tablets!!! I’m fuming because I have to waste petrol going back in, and it shouldn’t be me that has to go back, they couldn’t fulfill the order, so they should be bringing them to me!! Or at least if they find they haven’t got the items, they should people the option of returning the prescription, thus enabling the person to take it to another pharmacy!!! This isn’t the first time this type of thing has occurred at this pharmacy, and everyone I have spoken to about the place has a bad story re the terrible service there. After I pick up my owed items I shall be taking any future prescriptions to Boots, who have only half the staff at their pharmacy, and yet they often do the prescription within 5 minutes maximum!!! So that’s it for Tesco’s pharmacy, I have never known such incompetence as I have always experienced there!

I have never seen a pharmacy so badly run and so disorganised.

Staff are incredibly slow and most of them are quite rude. Especially one of them, which I had to make an official complaint about as this member of staff was really beyond rude.

There is quite often a long queue, which you could be waiting there a good 15 / 20 minutes. Once you ask for prescription and you known its ready and done, they unbag it all and get it checked again, even tho its done so it must be right in the first place.

I only come to this pharmacy because its the closest to my house and due to no transport, otherwise I would go else.

Don't come to this pharmacy unless you can really help it.

If I could give zero I would, the staff are beyond rude. They accept no responsibility for their errors. Instead they walk around the back to the dispensing area and don't think you can see or hear what the are saying.

They forget to pack all items and blame your GP, I get that it can be a busy counter, but they earn money from it. They tell you that you have retuned early for collection- Slow is not the word. They don't do it for free. This is why if you get bad services from this this pharmacy do not only leave feedback here but report to NHS England. And the pharmacist on duty is responsible for the level of service and care. You can find their details on the post to the left behind the till points.!

This is a very busy Pharmacy, it is in a busy supermarket, so I'm not surprised you have to wait a little.
The people here are very helpful and friendly.
I've never had any problems and pick up my prescription regularly.
I've been given advice and they never rush me when I need advice for anything.

Left a prescription with them as I was told the medication had to be ordered and would be in the next day. 40 minutes after I had left the store I had a text to say it was ready to be picked up. Long queue time too. I am not impressed.....

This place has never changed alway been slow only two staff on front desk when u have a queue out to fish counter why don't they take on more staff

I must admit last year I left a bad review for this pharmacy, but on reflection and using other pharmacies this pharmacy is so much more friendly and reliable, when you are a regular customer they get to know you they remember your name, yes some times you have to wait a bit longer but that's because the pharmacy is popular with regular customers, the staff take their time to help you and explain about the medication you have been prescribed, To be totally honest I've never had a problem with the amazing staff that go out of their way to help you.... Just give them a chance.

I stood in a que that went up to nearly the fish counter by the time I got near the front I'd been in the que 45mins. While they all stood out the back laughing and joking! Wouldn't mind if it was a one off but the service in this pharmacy is absolutely disgusting! Staffing is low! And the manager santana if I read the name correctly is disgustingly rude if you try and talk with her! Not to mention the times iv been there and over heard her being disgustingly rude to the other staff shouting at them and arguing with them!! Not what customers want to see or hear
