DO NOT USE Today I had the pleasure of dealing with the most foul tempered and miserable female pharmacist (brown bob-length hair). She seemed offended that customers expected their prescriptions fulfilled on the same day, replying with 'well I hope you're happy to wait...' as well as being completely content and unapologetic about making customers wait without any acknowledgment of them standing there. If you like being ignored this is the place for you. May I say to the lady at the counter, if you don't like your job, get another.

Went into Lloyd's Pharmacy within Nantwich Sainsbury's today to pick up a prescription sent to them by my GP practice. For the second month running they did not have the main item I needed and the very unhelpful member of staff on the counter just gave me my prescription back and told me to try elsewhere. She also stated that they were not able order my brand of medication from the manufacturer and as I have been on these particular tablets for 30 odd years, this was worrying. I then went to Well Pharmacy in Beam Street who had my medication in stock and seemed bemused with what I had been advised by Lloyds. I have now changed my nominated pharmacy to Well.

Disappointing Pharmacy to say the least. Not only do they say on a few occasions, that they do not have the prescription in stock, they couldn,t care less about it, yet Well and Morrisons Pharmacy say no problem we,ll order it in for you and be ready the next day. Very unhelpful. Their customer service is poor too, leave you standing their a long time before they care to check to see a customer, then they say another 20minutes, then you go to collect they say another 20 minutes so I had to tell them I,d already done that. Then they bagged up so many prescriptions in one bag instead of two that it burst broke and my medications went all over the shop floor everywhere, thankyou.

Twice recently the pharmacy was closed due to not having a qualified pharmacist on duty. Also, even though my Doctor sends my prescriptions electronically several days before I visit, I invariably have to wait 15 - 30 minutes while the item is made ready. Additionally an excuse of the pharmacist being on lunch (at 3.00pm!) resulted in a very long wait. I have now moved to another pharmacy and I cannot recommend Lloyds Pharmacy at all.

Just very slow a very long wait for a prescription 20-30minutes. They didnt even recognise my NHS number. They couldn,t find that I was on a certain medication to stop a heart attack and over 2 visits and 2 phonecalls they sent me away without the prescription my doctor sent them. I had to spell my surname 5 times, a short simple surname 5 letters and first name spelt 3 times and my NHS no.they said didnt exist.Changed Pharmacists. If I dont get hold of my medication that Ive been on for 15yrs I,ll be in hospital or not here.

Staff always seem to be overworked and stressed, which makes them impatient and often rude.
There seems to be a different pharmacist every time I visit.
Staff seem poorly trained and not very knowledgable.
I will not use this pharmacy any more.

So far just about every prescription has been incomplete and I've had to return at a later date. Went back in today especially to collect a further missing part, as was told on Saturday it would be ready, only to find it wasn't. Had to queue outside Sainsbury's for 10-15 mins before being able to get in to find this out.
UPDATE 25/4/22: I was given IOU's for the majority of my prescription two weeks ago as they couldn't get from the manufacturer. Since then I've been back 4 or 5 times and EVERY time they have been closed with a notice saying 'no collections, no pharmacist', and no notice of when they might be open again. I would suggest that a pharmacy without pharmacists cannot be called a pharmacy as they cannot provide medicines. No notification to customers as to when they might be able to collect life saving prescriptions. Another lady disgruntled today needed something to inject tonight and couldn't get. All the items should be sitting in a bag behind the counter, but the unhelpful staff that are there behind the counter when they are CLOSED will not hand them out. Another pharmacy company should be given the Sainsbury's franchise.

Since the current manager has been in post the Pharmacy has improved beyond all expectations. There is at last organisation and good housekeeping along with good advice. I am qualified to say this as a long term customer and I hope the business like approach will continue into the future. If you email them they now answer in a reasonable time and the same goes for the phone which never used to get answered. It's people that make the difference and the manager certainly has because she leads by example. She is a great asset to Lloyds Group company. No doubt she will move on at some point and will be a hard act to follow.

UPDATE 21st Nov 2021
New manager taken over and it's gone back to being the worst pharmacy around.

Can't get through on phone and had to ask Sainsbury was there a problem who told me over 50 people had rang that morning saying the same.

Then a medication I have taken for 15 years was wrongly prescribed by the pharmacy so now dangerously slap dash.

There have been days when they have NO pharmacist on duty so can't collect prescription. The new manager and area manager need to get a grip. The service is slow and queues are long, a lot of time the pharmacist don't turn up for work or are late.

It was with previous manager that a txt was sent to say prescription was ready not any more.

Worst the other day the pharmacy lied. They said the GP had not sent prescription until that day however I had it in writing the time and date was 2 days earlier.

They don't care about customers I feel we are a nuisence to them clearly have no standards or quality control boxes on floor shambles.
