Awful first impressions. Jhoots just taken over and Staff look like they cant be bothered. Went in thursday with prescription, had to order so pick up next day.
Went in Friday, waited in a queue for 25 mins to then be told item hadnt turned up!!!. I adked why then had i not been informed and was told by woman standing there 'i havent heen in today'. So no staff in the chemist until i went in at 6.15pm then???. No apology given for waiting or item not being there until afyer i said want prescription back will go elsewhere. Went to boots and pharmacist told me can get item needed over counter, much cheaper!!

Terrible service and I won't give this place any more business. Had used Lloyds for the past 10 years and never had a problem while they were in control. Now that Jhoots have taken over, they have ripped out a significant number of shelves and the remaining ones are only scantily stocked. Common meds not kept in stock and have to be ordered in. One particularly miserable woman working the counter who always looks like I just shot her dog and really shouldn't be working in a customer-facing role. On my final visit, there wasn't a member of staff in the store on entry and (from the counter) I could see that the back door was open and there was cigarette smoke wafting through the store. Incredibly unprofessional operation and I simply don't trust them to handle my meds.

Revisit see end of review. which I did in Jan 2018. Benefit of the doubt over. The place is still short staffed, shelves still empty, people queue up to complain about the changes of repeat policy ,no communication with customers, people left without their meds. You turn up at the counter to be told your repeat order is not there because of the policy change. A change i knewnothing about. They then offer you drugs to tide you over. I am left without meds for my disabled wife. I had to sort matters with the Dr as i don't trust Jhoots too. There have been other errors. Went in the pharmacy today. I was in a line of people complaining. Enough is enough we have taken our business to Howitts on Saffron
Lane.Out of interest visited Jhoots to see if there had been any improvements. I wasn't impressed the place had a feeling of neglect about it. The place needs refurbishment.Still one star

Terrible. I am about to check whether the incompetent woman who stated she was the pharmacist is actually qualified.
I have been told twice that they did not have my prescriptions which my GP had sent electronically and after going back and forth between the surgery both times, they managed to produce them.
However, the worst thing was that they did not have any epipens for my daughter ( they could have ordered them in as the prescription was sent electronically 3 days earlier) and the "pharmacist" suggested I went to Boots when it as an electronic prescription! I explained to her that this is not how it works.
They also don't stock plasters as they are a "specialist" item.
Yet the poster on the window states the staff and service provided will remain the same as Lloyds. What a joke!

Friendly staff but there seems to be always problem with the prescriptions they receive and they don't know what it is, they blame others. Also it never opens on the time that it says on their website. Lloyds pharmacy was so much better than jhoots. They need to be doing something about this.

No stock, staff in jogger bottoms and hoodies and hardly ever open. Strictly only open when everyone is at work and unable to get there. Closed for an hour over lunch! Why not rotate staff member's lunch breaks? Or employ a few staff without religious lunch hour requirements? Not open on
Saturdays. Shop is dirty and run down.

Brilliant staff, professional service. And new look of pharmacy. Love it. 👍

They have nice friendly staff, but are really only a dispensing chemist, and the shelves are mostly bare. Stock control of common medicines is poor. Virtually everything has to be ordered.
