Atherstone In-Practice Pharmacy

I've been diagnosed as being Diabetic, as a result I'm supposed to have a flu jab. I've had letters offering me this. Whilst collecting a prescription I noticed a poster which reminded me. So I enquired and filled out a form. The pharmacist then told me I would have to go private as I was too young. I told her that I was Diabetic and I had told them that on the form. I also told her I had received 2 letters from the surgery to remind me. She went away for 5mins, then called me into a room. She has the vaccine ready, but then told me that she had checked my records and no Diabetic medication had been given to me. This is true, I manage my condition by diet.

At this point, I thought why is this so difficult? I then left without the jab.

This attitude is terrible, why couldn't she just check with the surgery, she made me feel like I was trying to con her. Won't be going back, I'd rather have the flu!

Turned up 11.58 to be turned away.
I traveled here to collect a prescription for a person that is isolating so that you didn’t have to deliver as you are busy which is understandable under the circumstances.
I understand everyone needs a break but to turn me away even though I was just on time.
Not great customer service when I was trying to help you and a neighbour out😡.

Used to deliver my repeat prescription that my doctor sorted out for me during lockdown now they say they can’t deliver and not on a Friday when in fact I know that they used to deliver and to me on a Friday
When you have an issue they don’t answer the phone yet up to five staff working at the same time
Repeat prescription is never ready you have to wait for it to be made up despite it being expected to be ready on the 15th of every month
It’s a shame as the staff there are good but there does seem to be a spanner in the cog somewhere
So disappointed I might consider moving to a different chemist

Utterly amazing. The staff are amazing and dispensaries section are fantastic (Richard) listen to my insulin issues I've had such a lovely bloke. The pharmacy foot staff are good at their jobs and always will to chase up issues. Highly recommend as one of the best pharmacists I've used.

This has been a year of challenges.
When we received letters advising we 'Shield' I was worried.
We are dependent on our 'Meds' for any Mobility and especially so in Winter.
Throughout the Delivery Service at Ratcliffe Road Surgery has been Outstanding!
Rain,Shine even Snow,they have kept a high standard of Care and respect for our Concerns and the most Welcome friendly attitudes,even when pushed at the bad times.
While Doctors and Nurses are much appreciated (by the People) the Folk who make sure the Clinical Work gets received are just as much part of a Social Network of Health Care We can all admire.
I can only say a big 'Thank You to all involved in helping My Family and Myself in probably the most challenging times of my 63 year life.
I could not be better helped or as well cared for and I will allways be grateful for your assistance and Kindness.

One off the worst places as a pharmacist will be definitely be going to another one meds are never ready on my repeat all ways someone’s else’s fault

I needed to go and pick up a prescription got no phone call what do ever about if they had it or not I tried phoning they cut me off Would NOT Recommend

Was sent to a different pharmacy by mistake. Atherstone in surgery pharmacy had the prescription all along..... A lot of time wasted
