This must be one of the worst pharmacies in Wales. Tried to pick up my repeat today. Notice on door saying closed to 2.30pm as no pharmacist! Popped back at 2.30 to find a queue right outside leading all the way back to the GP surgery. Stood waiting 15 mins before first person came out - with around 10 + people in front this was going to take 2-3hrs! The only time queue moved forward in next 15 mins was when people gave up and left. I could not wait any longer. Still no meds. Will try again but will bring book and a chair next time.

How soul destroying it was to see a queue grow longer as one person at the till took 3-8 minutes to deal with one prescription. It would be quicker to watch the dial-up up internet connect. I only wanted to get some paracetamol.

terrible, have used this awful pharmacy for years against my better judgment - never have they delivered my prescription on time. they close early, they take 2-hour (!!!) lunch breaks, service is best measured in geological time, they lose prescriptions, they get prescriptions wrong. i'm writing this review as they have once again forced me into nasty withdrawal symptoms by making it impossible for me to pick up my regular medication. should be closed down. unbelievable

I visited the pharmacy whilst in holiday as I had tonsillitis. It was very busy but the staff were so helpful and friendly and the pharmacist was able to prescribe me some medicine and offer advice on how to treat it. Excellent service.

Absolutely awful over 1 hour to get a prescription how they are so far behind UK is unbelievable you may get free prescriptions but healthcare.is awful

Some of these reviews are inaccurate, implying Lloyd's is "probably the slowest pharmacy in Wales"! It is not! To be 'slow' implies that there is movement. This branch, however, is devoid of any semblance of efficiency or good customer service. It is quite dead. On one occasion I asked why my monthly repeat prescription was not in, amd the young man shrugged his shoulders with indifference and said, "I don't know, it's nothing to do with me, it's not my fault".
I've given up counting the number of times I've requested an emergency supply of medication. But don't be too hard on them, will you, because it's always "the computer's fault".
Interesting, the larger branch in town, before being closed, was exemplary. The prescription was always ready, and the staff the most helpful I've experienced.

Ansolute shambles of a pharmacy. If there was an option for 0 stats its exactky what I'd give this place. 3 times I've been in to pick up my repeat prescription, 3 times ive been told its not there. Phoned my GP who told me the prescription was sent mid of last week. Being back the old Lloyds pharmacy in Aberystwyth, my eeapeat prescription was always there on time with no problems. If you value youre health please dont use this pharmacy for repeats! The ironic thing is there is a nig sign up in store saying "prescriptions faster and esaier" take it down as it is not true.

Fab team, actioned my prescription straight away, fitted me in for the flu Jab same time. Efficient and professional as always, James the Pharmacist was very knowledgable.
