This was a brilliant community pharmacy but it has lost its friendliness and efficiency.
They had lost a guys script who was over 70 and made him go to the doctor's and get a replacement and then queue again behind 20 people.
The staff cant cope and are showing a lack of empathy for sick people.
They used to be caring and supportive but now don't even apologise for thier mistakes.
Please go to the Garn or Pontnewynedd for better service and he helped by people that actually care.
I really hope this feedback helps them sort themselves out as it used to be brilliant. People are already sick and struggling and deserve to be treated humanely.

Never met a more useless, lazy, rude and unhelpful individual in all my life, why on earth anyone goes into a health focused role when they have absolutely no desire to help people is beyond me. Every pharmacy is able to use livi to generate prescriptions yet this pharmacist couldn’t even be bothered to try when I was telling him how to do it. Old people who can’t keep up with the times are better off retiring instead of having such a negative impact on peoples mental health because of their incompetence. Awful place.

I've previously had great experiences with this pharmacy, I think that they are probably having an issue at the moment but that hasn't been communicated to patients/customers.
I've been calling 10-20 times a day for more than week to try and get my medication, it's supposed to be delivered to me and they already have the prescription!
I run out of my medication on Sunday night, I'm so tired of fighting to get my medications every month. The pharmacies in this area are really understaffed and it's hurting us all.

Appalling. My mother has AF & on insulin for Diabetes. They didn't even request her prescription!!! Every week she has a blister pack - not this week & to be frank they didn't even care... Absolutely disgusting

Will NOT answer the phone, orders being placed online are not being done, Now run out of my medication as they haven't sent it to the doctors to be renewed very short and not very nice staff understand things are tough but no need for lack of common decency will be moving to another pharmacy for sure.

This pharmacy lost my repeat prescription firstly saying that they had not received it from the doctors surgery and that I had to phone the surgery to ask why, which I did only to be told that they had signed for it the previous week! Having relayed this onto the pharmacy I was told they would sort it and ring me the next day for pick up. This did not happen, I waited all day for a phone call but none came.
The following day I rang the pharmacy to ask if had arrived, they said it would be ready in the afternoon, but I needed it this morning so they said it would be ready after 10:30am. I called in for the prescription at 10:30am and it was ready for me.
I asked the manager how they could lose a prescription? Her reply was very flippant “these things happen, you’ve got it now so there you go”
Not very professional, not very caring and quite frankly rude.
When looking after people’s health, they should follow strict guidelines, a duty of care and loosing people’s prescription is not in them.
They need to have a more robust system as the one they have now is failing their clients.

I have been trying to get my Prescription for 10 days, first trying to ring several days on the trot. The phone was either engaged or not answered and then the call gets cut off. Eventually I had to call into the pharmacy to request the prescription and was told that they are not taking phone calls!! No message to this effect has been placed on the line. I was also told that they had been taken over and to request prescriptions on line in future. That was easier said than done but managed to get set up eventually. On two occasions my son has called to collect the prescriptions and he has been left outside in the rain for about 30 minutes waiting to get in with many people in the queue. Wish I could change pharmacy but I'm on a batch system so unable to for a few months unfortunately

This was our local pharmacy, within walking distance of the GP and home. Unfortunately the pharmacy has extremely poor processes and service. Lots of mix ups with percriptions. Orders lost. Very long wait times. Will not accept phone enquiries.

We had no other option than to move to another pharmacy service. On the bright side... I would highly recommend Health Plus Pharmacy in Pontnewynydd. Fantastic service and customer care.
