John has created a wonderful site for wildlife photographers and bird watchers. He has several hides all looking over different habitats which he has created to capture natural shots of various birds depending on the time of year. He is very friendly and passionate about what he does and it is very informal and relaxed. Refreshments are available and the hides are quite spacious and comfortable. Thoroughly recommend it and will definitely be going back later in the year to see what else I can catch. 4 depleted batteries and 1 full memory card!

I’ve booked up for my 2nd visit as I had such an amazing time before. Hoping to get some shots of the woodpeckers fighting as it’s that time of year. Thoroughly recommend it, john Stanton has done an awesome job, the whole site is set up for photography by a photographer. And a great host. Great value.

Fantastic venue for bird photography. The hides are basic but very comfortable and roomy.
Very well set-up site, highly recommended.
I'm going again tomorrow and will certainly be going often throughout the year.

I had a great time photographing woodland birds at the Millers Wood hides. Nice comfortable hides and plenty of birds in varied settings.

Four of us from Mid Sussex camera club spent a day at Millers Wood, photographing birds. The hides we used including the water hide were comfortable and well stocked with bird food in many feeding points - maybe thirty in one setup. Very worthwhile. Thanks John Stanton.

Very good comfortable hide. Many woodland birds could be seen in a variety of settings. Poor light when I was there but that just bad luck.
