Fabulous clinic used many times over the years. They don’t just treat your immediate issue (back problems and a recent calf strain for me) but work with you for long term rehabilitation, injury prevention and basically keep you as active as possible for as long as possible!! I’ve been treated recently by Laura and Mick who are both superb. The reception staff are totally lovely too!!

My experience of the EMPC has always been positive. All the staff have a friendly and professional approach to physiotherapy sessions, whether my problem has been short or longer-term. Their expertise is the best I've experienced and I highly recommend.

I have always considered physiotherapy and its practitioners to be unskilled charlatans purveyors of smoke and mirrors people with little real knowledge about anything really ! But after a recent shoulder injury and getting rather tired of waiting inline at the GP surgery I decided to give these people a go but all I came away with was disappointment and my wallet 58 pounds lighter I saw Ben a very nice man but at a pound a minute he should be !! His anatomical knowledge seemed to be lacking or perhaps shoulders are not his speciality who knows ? If that was the case I should have been directed to someone more qualified to diagnose my issue ! This being the case I visited my GP and was astounded that although sports injuries etc are not his speciality I was diagnosed straight away and a treatment plan is underway is there a lesson to be learned here ? My lack of patience cost me £58 and my experience only reaffirmed my opinion regarding physios ! I am sure that within a few days positive reviews will appear on here expounding the miracles that this clinic has achieved to those people I would say the human body is a marvellous machine and in over 90% of cases with rest it will heal itself for the other 10% save your money and see a GP Max Taylor

I first visited EMPC Loughborough in 2019 and was treated by Ben Harris. I found the whole experience to be very professional and Ben really took the time to understand my heavy training load and how the injury would effect me. He helped to get me back running again without to long a lay off. The strength exercises he gave me have become a regular part of my training program.
I have since returned on two separate occasions and each time I am met with the same level of friendly professionalism. Ben has now become my go to physio. I highly recommend him.

I had been experiencing some pain in my knee for some time and knew that I required Physio, as we went into lockdown, I decided to up my exercise routine and this resulted in further uncomfortable pain. I felt that I was in crisis unable to sit down or walk up the stairs without pain in my knee. I used East Midlands Physiotherapy Clinic 7 years ago for a different injury so I knew that I would get a good service. I went to the website in hope that there maybe some help with my injury. I discovered that they were offering online assessments, I felt quite comfortable with this and decided to book an appointment. My first assessment with Ben was great we talked through my injury, describing the pain and Ben asked me what it was stopping me enjoying. Using the camera Ben was able to ask me to do certain positions so he could see how my knee bends and reacts under certain situations eg squats. By the end of my assessment Ben was clear why I was getting the pain. He created me an exercise plan and provided me with an online portal to log into, to see the exercise in action which really helped. Ben also advised me to use resistance bands and recommended the best affordable ones for me. I had weekly appointments with Ben where he would demonstrate the exercise for my injury, and I would then demonstrate them to Ben via the camera. Ben had given me guidance and advice with my technique with all my exercise to ensure I do not create further injury. My sessions have been enjoyable as Ben has focused on my wants to be able to complete exercise pain free and over 12 weeks on I am now pain free and my foot, knee and hips are stronger. I am now working on maintenance exercise and feel in a great place. I would say having my virtual physio was a welcomed and beneficial experience for me to be now pain free. Thank you, Ben!

The pain has gone with regular physio and advice on on-going exercise to prevent further occurrence. Thanks Ben

After breaking my ankle I had a lot of swelling due to the soft tissue damage and felt very unstable on my feet. Ben gave me progressive exercises to build up strength and flexibility in my ankle and also addressed the balance issue which has given me so much more confidence. Ben was very friendly and professional throughout.

I have been suffering with Thoracic outlet syndrome for a number of years, which resulted in sleepless nights and chronic pain, I tried NHS physio, pain killers, nothing worked, and EMPC were recommended to me, I have been seeing Ben regularly now on a fortnightly basis over the last 3 months. The difference that his magic fingers and my bespoke exercise program have brought about is nothing short of miraculous. Thanks Ben and EMPC for the difference you’ve made.
