Alex was very thorough in his assessment and provided a variety of exercises that I could do both in and out of the gym to help with my injuries. With the movements he selected, I was still able to train hard during the recovery process and can now squat, bench and deadlift pain-free!

I have enlisted Alex for his first rate physio services on a number of occasions, for a range of ailments; from hip and lower back issues, to more recently a wrist complaint. On every occasion he has been professional, understanding, courteous and, most importantly, after careful and thorough diagnosis, suggested a course of action to alleviate the pain at source. I would highly recommend Alex for any physiotherapy needs.

Alex was great - I came to him with significant back pain 2 weeks out from a powerlifting meet, not knowing whether I’d even be able to compete or not. With his advice I managed to pull through and perform the best I ever have! He was optimistic yet realistic and honest which I thought was perfect. If I ever need any advice in future I’ll not be going anywhere else!

I came to Alex after visiting 3 different physios who all diagnosed my back injury differently with no plan of how to rehab correctly, leaving me pretty frustrated. Rather than focusing on what was wrong with me, Alex worked with what I could do and gave me an in depth plan of specific rehab exercises to do and accessories specific to my sport (powerlifting) which allowed me to return to comfortable lifting within a couple of weeks. He even took the time to check in with me and my coach to see if things were working and if my pain had improved (which it did!😊) I would recommend Alex to anyone looking for a physio who seriously cares, especially to powerlifters as Alex is wonderful at dealing with us👍🏻

I got in contact with Alex due to some shoulder pain affecting my bench which had really set me back…a few hours after my first consultation he had identified the issue and set out a plan for recovery, a few weeks later my pain had drastically reduced and I was able to compete pain free! Alex has been amazing and is always super helpful when you need anything! Cannot recommend him enough.

No one else I’d go to - came to Alex with some ongoing knee issues squatting. Managed to resolve the issues with a few simple steps and no flare ups since. Still managed to continue my training peaking into comp without disruption or stopping squatting.

As a coach, I have worked with Alex to help my athletes, where needed, and always recommend to other powerlifter friends. Great to have someone who understands the sport and can approach things in a pragmatic way. Highly recommend!

I came to Alex with a hip injury which left me in constant pain and unable to squat to depth. My previous physio largely disregarded the problem and the exercises I was given were of no help, leaving me feeling pretty discouraged but as I was a few weeks out from comp I decided to get some more help to try solve the problem. Alex was super attentive and helped me understand exactly what the issue was, and the rehab exercises he gave me helped me get back to squatting normally within a few weeks and even allowed me to get a comp squat PR! He has checked up on me regularly and has been an overall pleasure to work with, would highly recommend!

Alex has been instrumental in helping me overcome a year long low back injury. I have hypermobile joints and find positioning and movement difficult to execute, particularly whilst in pain. Several rehab exercises for bracing and movement of the pelvis meant I could sit down without pain again. Repeating these coupled with my coach's new training regime means I am back doing powerlifting, which I love!
