I tore my ACL on holiday and was bereft at the thought of needing surgery. David made no assumptions but said we’d need to work on strengthening the muscles regardless. With his help I found myself getting stronger and more confident on my leg and have a good repertoire of exercises to continue with. I highly recommend his work!

David is a great physio with a thorough, knowledgeable and friendly approach. I was lucky enough to find him when searching online for a local physiotherapist. I'm now pain-free thanks to his help.

David helped me go back to almost 100% in such a short time I will be grateful forever. I am neither young nor particularly sporty but my broken ankle healed beautifully with almost no sign. He is patient, a true professional and full of knowledge. Very kind and pleasant too. Which is very helpful if -like me- you are nervous to begin with. During the course of my ankle treatment, I had an episode with my neck/shoulder completely unrelated, he was spot on with his diagnosis (which my gp was completely wrong about, because gp would only do phone appointments) I was able to get the right treatment because of David, if it wasn’t for him, I’d have suffered quite badly for a very long time.. he is truly amazing.

Excellent treatment - highly recommended.
I had an intermittently painful knee which was preventing me from jogging and long walks. After an initial assessment David gave me some daily strengthening, stretching & balancing exercises to do - about 15-20 mins each day. He also focused on the mindset around injury & recovery, which I found very helpful: e.g encouraging me to be less worried about protecting my knee, and not be afraid to put more load on it.
After a month of the daily exercises I started noticing improvement, had a second session with David and a couple of weeks later I have just returned to doing (v slow) Parkruns :)
-happy customer!

I went to see David with a running injury to my knee I sustained while training for a marathon. David recognized the issue straightaway and was able to advise a range of exercises which helped resolve the issue over a few weeks.

I first went to David in back in September following an ankle injury I sustained playing tournaments over the summer, and he was quickly able to give me an initial diagnosis and a couple of exercises to work on. I saw him regularly over the next 3 months where he gave me more tips and exercises for recovery to help me get back to full strength, and hopefully prevent any similar injuries in the future. He was always very friendly and helpful in making progressive adjustments to the exercises and my routine as I improved. Would definitely recommend!

After dislocating my shoulder, I was referred to David for rehabilitation. David has done a fantastic job over the last 2 months and now I'm back to a full range of motion and probably stronger then before.
On top of this he has given me further exercises to keep progressing through such that I'm at a much reduced risk of having the same injury.
His sessions are great and no session feels wasted. I know that if I have new problems in the future I will contact to book a new appointment. Excellent service all round.

I went to David for treatment for a limp in my left leg. David diagnosed that I had foot drop and designed a series of exercises to strengthen the muscles that lift the foot during walking and to alleviate the stiffness in my back, which probably caused the foot drop by pinching a nerve. This all worked out brilliantly and I no longer have this problem and am back to playing tennis. It is reassuring to know that cleverly designed easy exercises are so effective even for those of us over sixty.
