I have really valued and enjoyed working with Natasha during the first 6 months of my post-natal recovery following the birth of my daughter by an unplanned c-section. Her attention to detail and the questions she asked during the initial 'Mummy MOT' and then during subsequent sessions enabled me to share how I was feeling physically - the highs and lows of my recovery. Natasha was then really responsive to my needs which included tailoring/adapting exercises and movements, and changing session focus depending on the key issues I brought whilst not losing focus on my overall recovery goals.
Natasha is knowledgeable but shared information with me in an accessible and straightforward way, in session and also via e-mail. She was also happy for me to email with questions between sessions.
Natasha is so personable and friendly, helping me to feel at ease and comfortable. She was really professional, considerate and respectful throughout our sessions. It was particularly evident that she was really conscious and mindful of informed consent in regard to the internal pelvic floor examinations (part of Mummy MOT) so at all times I felt at ease, comfortable and that I had choice in terms of whether I wanted this to be part of my treatment plan. I did and have found this aspect to be really useful in terms of supporting my pelvic floor recovery.
My treatment plan has been holistic and I am really pleased with my recovery in multiple areas (pelvic floor, c-section scar, diastasis recti and hip/back pain!) and the guidance I have been given around how to continue to progress.
On a practical note it was really helpful that Natasha let me know that my partner and baby were able to come with me and wait in the David Lloyd social area during my sessions. As a first time mum this meant I was able to relax and enjoy the sessions!
Highly recommend Natasha for supporting post-natal recovery.
I was initiially hesitant to get physio as I felt like no matter what I did I wouldn't get improvement but I'm very glad I did. Worth every penny and cannot recommend Lucy and Peak Physio enough!
I have been impressed on both occasions with the friendly professional approach by both Lucy and Laura.
My recent treatment for a shoulder injury has been a slow process of rehabilitation which did not put Laura off in the slightest, she remained focused and determined throughout. Each session was greeted with a smile and I was always made to feel welcome and relaxed.
The exercises I was given to aid my recovery were carefully explained and demonstrated by Laura with the added support of an application on my phone.
I would highly recommend Laura and Peak Physio as I cannot fault the service I have received with them.
