I echo all of the 5 star reviews Mark has received below. I was in a hopeless position two years ago unable to run due to knee pain. I tried other Physio's across Chester with no success before finding Rebound online. Mark had me up and running within two treatments and I now visit when needed. I really believe in the dry needling treatment offered and it works fantastically for me. Mark is a expert in his field and I continue to recommended him highly to friends and family.

Simply miraculous - I developed pain and discomfort down my left arm/shoulder before Covid. I spent the next couple of years (and several thousand pounds) trying to get it resolved through a wide range of other treatments - including other physios. I went to see an orthopaedic surgeon who did an x-ray and MRI, and basically said I should manage my pain with pain killers. Given, I was in my early 40s, this wasn’t a satisfactory solution for me. At this point, no one could actually give me a diagnosis!

In desperation I searched for other physios that specialise in musculoskeletal pain, and found Mark. He managed to give me an interim diagnosis over the phone, which was confirmed when he saw me in person. 4 sessions later, and my pain levels are pretty negligible. I’ve returned to tennis and other sports which I’d previously enjoyed but was unable to do.

Mark’s approach is scientific and methodical - identifying the specific symptoms and then systemically working through all the abnormalities in your body that could be causing them. Although he’s not the cheapest, his sessions tend to be twice as long as other physios, far less rushed, and more effective as he doesn’t rush the diagnosis, so you’ll need less sessions overall. Other physios have given me increasingly long exercise routines that took over an hour every day to complete. By contrast, any exercises Mark prescribes are extremely focused, and can be completed in 5 minutes per day.

If you have musculoskeletal pain, I’d make sure you see Mark before trying anything else. Doing so a few years ago, would have saved me thousands of pounds and years of discomfort.

Delighted with the three treatment package. Really felt that Mark listened carefully to the issues as I explained them, and reached conclusions that he communicated very clearly to me. I would not hesitate recommending this five star service to others and, if necessary, visiting Mark again

I was skeptical when Mark suggested dry needling and I assumed phisio meant marginal results after months of practicing exercises. However, after just one dry needling session my knee was 50% better. After two follow up sessions I had practically no symptoms at all. The cost of visiting a phisio my be reasonably high, but these sessions are fantastic value for money, results and we're almost instantaneous and I'm back riding my bike without having to worry about knee pain.
Thank you Mark

Mark was an absolute life saver!! I'm on my feet all day as I'm a cleaner, I do around 20k steps a day.
I booked in with Mark as I was in a lot of pain with the heel and achilles area of my foot. I kind of wish I'd booked in sooner as I had been suffering for around 4 months prior, Mark quickly identified that I had an issue with nerve restriction around the hip and achilles tendinopathy.
I literally had one session of physio with dry needling to release the nerve and a second for injection and exercises for the achilles, 3 weeks on im 90% better. Thank you so much Mark!

I booked an appointment with Mark @rebound having suffered chronic pain for 6 years and being under chiropractic care and rheumatology for the majority of those years. Mark did a thorough consultation and ran a comprehensive diagnostic review to enable the correct treatment path and not do what the other medical professionals have done which has been to rely solely on the results of my MRI scans. Post the consultation Mark administered treatment and I left the clinic with no pain! Which is the first time I can say this in years. Mark is an absolute genius and so professional. If I need any further treatment I shall be booking back in. Thank you for taking the time to understand my condition and for the after care plan also to keep me pay free as much as possible.

I would highly recommend Rebound Physiotherapy - so professional, takes the time to diagnose problems and with so much experience and training gets on and gets you moving. For the first time in years I feel stronger and have much more movement improving my quality of life. Great experience, we will be back! Thank you Rebound

After many miserable years and sleepless nights suffering with lower back pain radiating down my coccyx and into my hips, a family member recommended to try Rebound Physiotherapy. Mark is a very caring creative investigator, who tailors intervention to your needs. Using a combination of dry needling and manipulation, Mark was able to release tightness around my hips and radiating lower back pain down my coccyx. He is passionate about helping people, encourages and supports your tenacity and endurance along the road to recovery. Highly recommended! Thank you so much Mark.
