In desperation I searched for other physios that specialise in musculoskeletal pain, and found Mark. He managed to give me an interim diagnosis over the phone, which was confirmed when he saw me in person. 4 sessions later, and my pain levels are pretty negligible. I’ve returned to tennis and other sports which I’d previously enjoyed but was unable to do.
Mark’s approach is scientific and methodical - identifying the specific symptoms and then systemically working through all the abnormalities in your body that could be causing them. Although he’s not the cheapest, his sessions tend to be twice as long as other physios, far less rushed, and more effective as he doesn’t rush the diagnosis, so you’ll need less sessions overall. Other physios have given me increasingly long exercise routines that took over an hour every day to complete. By contrast, any exercises Mark prescribes are extremely focused, and can be completed in 5 minutes per day.
If you have musculoskeletal pain, I’d make sure you see Mark before trying anything else. Doing so a few years ago, would have saved me thousands of pounds and years of discomfort.
Thank you Mark
I booked in with Mark as I was in a lot of pain with the heel and achilles area of my foot. I kind of wish I'd booked in sooner as I had been suffering for around 4 months prior, Mark quickly identified that I had an issue with nerve restriction around the hip and achilles tendinopathy.
I literally had one session of physio with dry needling to release the nerve and a second for injection and exercises for the achilles, 3 weeks on im 90% better. Thank you so much Mark!
