I have recently been through a course of Physio on my ankle after I badly sprained it earlier this year. I was lucky enough to have Prince as my physiotherapist and he has been amazing! My ankle is now fully healed and Prince has made sure to leave me with ongoing exercises that I can use in the gym to keep the strength of my ankle improving. Prince was lovely in every session and I would absolutely recommend him to everyone needed physio!

I had a long term injury on my lower back and hip area which started 4 years ago. I went to see different specialist but they couldn't find the problem. I couldn't go for long walks, follow a yoga class or sit long time on my desk. Being a sports person that was very frustrating. Luckily I went to see Sharron! She was recommended by my husband and I also recommended her to a friend. We are all very happy with her treatment. Sharron is a very experienced physiotherapist and a very interesting person. Thanks to her I have been able to go back to my normal life and I am extremely grateful. I have learned to understand my body and as soon as I feel a bit of pain I do Sharron's exercises.
The centre is modern, quite luxurious and clean. Makes you feel good when you walk in there. Great accessibility. All the staff are very friendly.

I started Pilates classes at Vanbrugh physio with Anja at the beginning of the year to help with injury prevention and flexibility. I’ve never really got on with Pilates before but absolutely love these classes. They’re small so you feel like you’re getting personal attention and Anja and Rachel
are fantastic teachers who bring great energy and knowledge. I’m feeling stronger and more supple and it’s definitely the most relaxing part of my week. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I came to Vanbrugh after having back pain for 3-4 years. Recently, I was recommended Reformer/Clinical Pilates and reached out to Vanbrugh Physiotherapy Clinic to give it a go. I had my first sessions at the end of August(2022) and had the please of working with Anja, who gave me a full assessment and a breakdown of how the clinical pilates process would work. It was also great to hear the optimism that I would be able to recover from my back pain, with a fresh approach!

I work as a competitive sailor meaning my schedule was super busy and frantic. Anja was incredibly supportive, coming in to help me with session outside of her usual hours and giving me exercises that I could take with me whilst working. I'm glad to say that 8 weeks in I am seeing great improvement following the advice Anja gave me. She also gave me a personal training session, to help refine and perfect my form within training movements. This has allowed me to keep training alongside and have the confidence that I can do this safely.

The clinic as a whole has been a great experience, from being offered coffee on arrival to the level of attention and detail from the staff. I would certainly recommend Vanbrugh Physiotherapy Clinic to anyone looking to recover from injuries, work a little niggles or just to improve overall physical health.

The Pilates class with Anja (or Rachel) is one hour set aside for ‘me’. Whatever else is going on in your world, be it work, home, family or friends it’s a chance just to switch off and focus on yourself. Sounds a bit selfish I know. But sometimes putting yourself first for a moment makes it easier to prioritise everything else.

I’d reached an age when I knew I had to ‘do something’ to tone up as the lumps and bumps weren’t ever going to go away on their own. I didn’t think I was sufficiently bendy for yoga so when the invite from Vanbrugh Physio came through, I decided to try it. And so glad I did. The classes are never more than six people so you receive proper, targeted attention and encouragement. The breathing technique has also helped me with other moments in life when you need to step back, focus, then go back to whatever challenge you face.

I can honestly say that I come out of the class feeling taller and my clothes seem to be less clingy and, (secret), I actually wasn’t too embarrassed on the beach this summer.

The environment at Vanbrugh Physio is also fabulous and the whole team are welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend the class and the whole experience with Anja.

I came to the clinic with a terrible knee pain which was restricting my mobility but thanks to James, I was able to recover from the pain. Also, he helped me with my gym programme in order to keep myself healthy and active. Many thanks James!

Truly a lovely experience. Clean place with friendly and knowledgable staff. They don’t waste time just talking they actually do the work and really get you set on the path to recovery. Shout out to the front of house staff who are friendly and prompt to help work around your schedule and to the physiotherapists too! Great great place

James Gambett at the Vanbrugh Group Practice is an amazing physio. I have been visiting him for the last 8 months due to 2 x different injuries. James takes an holistic approach to rehabilitation and recovery. I have learnt so much about how to prevent future injuries, regain strength and to get back to what i enjoy. I can now to kettlebell classes and ran a 5km today. You need to be patient with your body and do the exercises he sets. If you do you will get the greatest rewards. What a great guy, easy to get hold of and is only an email away. I highly recommend James!
