A life-long runner, I had been suffering from Achilles pain for almost 2 years before I decided to get some help. Adelina immediately told me it would take 6 to 9 months to fix and there would be no more running until she said so. She gave me an exercise regime, which she changed each session, and now almost 9 months later to the day I am running 5k with no pain at all. Adelina is very knowledgable and great to work with, and I am happy to recommend her!

I attended Spires to treat tennis elbow that wasn't showing any signs of improving. Adelina worked with me to understand likely causes and set up a progressive program to improve the condition and minimise the likelihood of recurrence. Her approach was open, informative, and positive and I now know what to do should this ever flare up again. I have no hesitation in recommending the clinic and Adelina in particular.

After having had sciatica for almost a year, Adelina really helped me deal with the pain and understand my condition to its full extent. She recommended exercises which I hadn’t tried before and I am at the lowest level of pain I have been in over a year. Excellent physio and very professional. I could not recommend Adelina more!

I went to Spires Physiotherapy Oxford because my sciatica was making me miserable. I'd given up running. I felt old. My physio, Andreas Georgoulas, was having none of this self-pity and gave me a program to build my strength and flexibility with the aim of getting back to running. Boy, was it hard work! But Andreas' good humour and encouragement kept me going and now I am much stronger. I went for an 8 mile walk this morning, which I couldn't have done before, and I feel fine! And tomorrow I'll continue my progression to running. I may get twinges and flare ups in the future but I now have the strength and confidence to ride them out.

Adelina, at Spires, has been helping me for some time with a very painful knee. She was very clear from the start that the problem was something that I would have to live with but the condition could be managed and there was a lot that could be done to improve things. Before the programme started I could walk about 100 yards with a limp and significant pain. Last Sunday I walked 6 miles without any pain. It has been a long and slow process but Adelina has put together a programme of exercises that has made so much difference. As expected, I still have the odd day when the knee is not happy - but these are now easily managed with some stretching exercises and ibuprofen gel.Thank you so much for your help.

I came to Adelina initially with pain deep in in right waist/hip area. She was attentive to my description of the pain and the movements that aggravated it. She formulated a program for me which I followed for several months and saw a huge improvement, being almost pain free in that region now. I then asked Adelina to treat the chronic years long pain I had in both my knees. She developed a program that greatly increased my strength and helped immensely with managing that knee pain. Adelina is a great physio, as well as a warm and lovely person, and I highly recommend her to anyone needing treatment.

Great experience with Andreas!

I've been having issues with my neck and upper back, and in just three sessions Andreas taught me various exercises to strengthen my muscles, improve posture and avoid chronic pain. Strongly recommend

Highly recommend Spires Physio and my physio, Andreas. I went with a neck strain and after some manipulation at the practice, and following home exercises, I fully recovered in 3-weeks, meaning I am pain free and can sleep again. Top marks and good value.
