I've been seeing Nick for some weeks now due to my"bad" back. Throughout he explains clearly the problems I've experienced and a clear plan to put it right, all clearly and patiently demonstrated. And through some simple exercises my bad back is now all good and I'm back to my best. I went to Nick as he was highly recommended and I have no hesitation in passing that recommendation on.

After experiencing a shoulder injury, I wanted to get back to gym as soon as possible. Nick took the time to fully understand how I did it, where the pain exactly was and did several different movements/exercises with my shoulder to see what triggered the pain. He gave me reassurance that there was no serious injury and gave me a couple of things to do to help the healing process. Just a few days later it is nearly back to normal.

Thank you Nick!

Nick has been very helpful in diagnosing an issue with my foot that has been painful for around 3 years. I have had Xrays, Scans, Physio, Chiro and nothing had helped and I didnt ever have a diagnosis. I found The Good Physio at a local wellness clinic and in desperation thought I would try a private physio. So glad I did, firstly he understood a quite rare genetic condition that I have (Malignant Hypothermia) and secondly he diagnosed the issue within the first 30 min session, and started with explanations and exercises to help (nothing to do with my foot!)

I had 4 appointments and by the end was around 50 % improved. 4 months later it is around 85% improved and I have a huge reduction in pain.

If you have had no joy in other avenues I would thoroughly recommend making an appointment with Nick. I will return in the future when needed and have recommended him to others.

I strongly recommend Nick - he listens, he's dedicated and was really good at offering me treatment and information/education in the balance I wanted. By the time I came to Nick I'd been experiencing pretty bad shoulder pain for two years (no joy with doctor or NHS physio), and was at the despairing point of believing it would never go away. Five sessions with Nick later and I was pain free, still am, and pretty much amazed and so so happy and relieved. I'm able to get back to some sports i was stalled in due to inability to do overhead lifting of any kind, and I'm so chuffed to be back practising and able to book in with Nick in future if I need help as I increase the complexity of my lifting/sport. And nevermind that, just waking up with no pain is amazing!
Highly recommend!

Nick is a great physiotherapist and I would completely recommend him. I had an injury that had been causing me some problems for a few months, with Nick's help it was starting to recover after the first consultation. As well as helping during the consultations he gave me the confidence to exercise in a way that expedited my recovery. He is experienced, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. He answers all my questions and I have complete confidence in him.

Nick is amazing 🤩 he completely puts you at ease and talks through everything and LISTENS to how you feel your injury/pain began …he is patient kind and reassuring which is half the battle I believe! After one visit I had the best nites sleep in 6 months with advice from him how to position my pillows as neck problem! Been today for second appointment and probably only need one more but I don’t care…out of discomfort and feeling great 😊 can’t recommend Nick highly enough

I have had lower back problems for 5 + years and seen numerous physios and chiropractors with little success in the past. A recent reoccurring disk prolapse left me in a lot of pain and with very limited movement and I had to find help. As a 26 year old who was previously very active I was desperate to get to the bottom of the problem and take back control. Nick was genuinely invested in my story and the effect that my back pain was having on my lifestyle and general health. He quickly worked out the route of the issue and took time explaining and ensuring I understood the mechanics of the problem. He has helped me towards being pain free and building confidence in my back and ability to move well again. I will 100% use Nick at The Good Physio in the future if needs be and couldn't recommend his service highly enough.

Nick has helped me tremendously with my calf pain. He took the time to discuss my injury and the cause in order to diagnose correctly and offer the appropriate treatment. Even after my first visit there was a noticeable difference and Nick gave me some exercises to take away to continue to strengthen my calf. All in all very pleased, would highly recommend and would not hesitate to use Nick again.
