I have been seeing Amie for soft tissue massage for the last couple of years. I have a long standing neck injury and she had looked after me when everyone else said they wouldn’t. I had tried chiropractors and had physio but there has been a problem where all my muscles go into spasm and tighten. I run a lot and physically active. Amie’s treatment has allowed me to keep doing what I want and has allowed me to get up to running a marathon without curling into a ball in pain. I always know when I’m coming up to my monthly massage as I get tight and sore.

Amie is just fabulous. Always wanting the best and helping you out. She won’t just take your money if she doesn’t think that she can help. She gives good advice and exercises to help. The massages are not a relaxing experience and she gets to work on the really problem areas. But I feel a millions times better and more flexible afterwards. She has also helped with other injuries I have had with my legs. She definitely knows her stuff and exactly the points to get to work on.

She is a lovely person to spend an hour with. I think I get just as much benefit from our chats as I do the massages. She makes you feel at ease and never too much of a bother even when you have abused your body between sessions and undone all her hard work.

Over the first lockdown when she couldn’t open I really noticed the difference and was in a lot more pain and really uncomfortable. It was great when she opened up again and I could get my regular sessions.

The studio is always nice and clean and warm. Has a lovely feel to it. Amie has a pretty good taste in music too.

There is not a nicer person or better sports therapist out there.

Amie is a star. We have a weekly private session with her.
Her teaching style encourages one to push oneself and enjoy doing so!
She is committed to improving her client's wellbeing and can adapt a session to suit her client's abilities and needs.

Amie was amazing! She was really thorough in understanding my medical history/aches/pains and general grumbles. The session itself was fascinating and I learnt a lot (as well as getting a good workout). The main thing I really appreciated were Amie's kind words at the end of the session as they really boosted my confidence. Can't wait for my next session!

I have been attending a Pilates class with Amie for a couple of years now, although in a small class Amie treats us all as individuals watching and instructing us all individually when needed, it is fun as well as beneficial. I have also had individual sports massage for an ongoing hip and back problem which has helped enormously, again she is so thorough with health background and so professional giving exercises to assist day to day mobility. First class.

Amie is balm to my ageing and aching body. She keeps me able to cope with my various ailments, arthritis being .one of them. She is the best physiotherapist I have ever had, and seeing her regularly is a joy

I have attended Pilates classes on a weekly basis for the last 3 years. Amie is excellent, constantly checking that each participant is moving correctly and offering variations as required to suit each individual. The classes are small and friendly with different exercises each week so we are never bored! I have also received several sports massages to relieve various aches and pains and would not hesitate to recommend both this and the Pilates classes.

Amie is both a wonderful Pilates teacher and therapist. Her knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is extensive and applied in a kind and considered way. I never leave a lesson or therapy session without feeling taller, broader and cared for.

I was introduced to Amie about three years ago, when I was 68, by a friend of my wife who had used her massage service. As I had a shoulder problem at the time I made an appointment to see her. Unlike many therapists I had previously been to Amie took time to listen to what I told her about the problem, checked out my shoulder in terms of point of pain, degree of movement restriction and my need to get it corrected. She explained what she was doing as the massage progressed and at the end suggested some home exercise. I visited her two more times with the problem which she was able to correct and it has not caused any issues since. I noted that Amie had a Reformer at the clinic so I signed up for four sessions. Now I still visit her on a weekly basis and have three reformer sessions and one massage session on a four week cycle. I go back so regularly because Amie is the best therapist I have ever visited and I have visited many different ones over a 20 year period in over 15 different countries. She is very knowledgeable about how the body works, the muscle structures and anatomy. Over the last 3 years she has solved many issues I have had particularly around my hips and groin as well as helping me to stay fit and active.

If you have any type of muscular issue or want to use a Reformer or Pilates to get or stay fit then Amie is the person to go to. Quite simply Amie is the best!
