I cannot recommend Gerard more highly. Had some mild lower back pain from a football injury. After a thorough assessment Gerard recommended a personalised exercise plan to increase strength and flexibility, which I am confident will alleviate the pain over time. He is very knowledgeable and explained the rationale behind including each exercise thoroughly. He also provides video guides of all exercises via an app which is simple and extremely helpful. On top of his expertise Gerard is a great guy who is incredibly easy to talk to.

I’m a professional footballer and unfortunately suffered the longest term injury of my career back in November 2021…

I suffered with a ganglion cyst that grew within my knee joint, displacing the fat pad in my knee and after a lot of trial and error, finally had to have surgery in May 2022 to remove it…

With Gerard’s help and guidance even before the surgery, but especially since the surgery, together we have managed to get me back to full health…

On Tuesday evening (20th September 2022) I finally played my first full 90minutes since 6th November 2021 (Almost a year) as my team Braintree Town won 2-1 in the FA Cup.

What can I say about Gerard, where do I even begin?

What an extraordinary individual….

Starting with his actual trade and level of skill… His knowledge, understanding and application is absolutely outstanding.

And then as a human being… what a man. Kind, supportive, patient, caring, always willing to go that extra mile, do that bit extra to ensure that we got the absolute maximum out of every single session, whether that be physical advancements on a strength / power / mobility / plyometric / movement level or hands on treatment to ensure the knee and the rest of the body was healing properly.

I simply could not have done this return to play without him and if you’re reading this Ger, I cannot thank you enough boss.

Gerard is a fantastic sports physician, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Having tried numerous other physicians, I found Gerard to be one of the most effective, knowledgeable and patient.
