Alex provided me with the perfect transitional support between injury recovery and full-blown running plan. I was suffering from shin splints when I approached Alex and he guided me through no running to three weekly runs varying in length and intensity in the space of 2 months. He carefully monitored my symptoms and adapted the plan from there. His training plans were well-rounded, with the right amount of strength training, cross training and returning to running. I also appreciated how well he described the strength exercises, with details and videos, and patiently answered all the questions.

I came to Alex for a Knee injury after seeing four therapists in a span of 2 years at leading clinics in London. I am an everyday athlete and lover of outdoors who enjoys being active – running marathons, hiking, climbing, swimming, cycling, so resolving this injury was important to me and I really felt helpless.
I didn’t want to again spend time and money with no results. But after my first session with Alex, I knew this time it would be different. He formed me a plan of strengthening and rehab and within few weeks I started to see a difference. To make matters worse I had a tibia stress injury few weeks later and Alex started to treat both.
A plan for strengthening and rehab which we regularly reviewed, clinic sessions supplemented with running coaching for me to reach that start line of Chicago marathon. He always described the strength exercises really well. He is a runner himself which makes a massive difference. He personally understands the physical and the mental requirements & challenges of runners both for professionals and everyday athletes.

His plan was tailored to allow me to do what I COULD with cross training while I got stronger for running. Alex is an expert, upto date with his knowledge and is continuously learning & innovating.

The biggest point for me was that he genuinely wanted to help and cared so I could trust him. You don’t feel that you are being scammed into booking sessions (as per my previous experiences). He sees you when he feels he NEEDS to see you and review your plan and when the session will make a difference.

I just didn’t reach the start line but got a 21 min PB in Chicago and running another marathon in a short span of three weeks and I am really thankful to Alex for that. I feel so much more stronger and looking forward to next year.

As a Physiotherapist myself, I have been very obsessed with my own knee surgery and it's progress. Midway through a 9 month ACL rehabilitation programme I hit a bit of a wall in my own knowledge & motivation so went to see Alex.

Alex's expertise and up to date knowledge has provided me with markers and goals to keep my rehab objective and therefore motivating.
After just 1 session I have left excited to continue the rest of this journey with his wonderful advice. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking individual and patient centered Physiotherapy. 5 stars

My husband had a complex knee replacement in July. He knew that to get back into work within the building industry he would need extra physio!Alex provided him with the knowledge and expertise to push him with exercise and use of resistance aids to get him to a very good mobility situation. Alex discussed his recovery options and my husband has fulfilled them within the 3 months time slot
Well done Alex

Alex and I worked together following my ACL repair surgery. He was amazing at getting my confidence back in those very early days, was supportive and pushed me just hard enough to recover and keep on track. He tailored my recovery, was amazingly patient and motivating. Would highly recommend

I cannot praise Alex enough. I've worked with a few physios over the years and he is far and away the best.
I appeared at his clinic with a torn soleus 11 weeks out from my first marathon. Alex had me ready to resume training a little over 3 weeks later with a clear plan to help me avoid recurrence of that and provided superb advice on injury avoidance in future.
The Chicago marathon was one of the best experiences of my life and I'm very grateful to Alex for getting me to the start line.

Alex is the best physio I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. Over a two year period he worked with me on an injury that a number of other physios had been unable to properly solve - he took the time to understand it, had the knowledge to devise a workable plan and had the care to see it through. 5 stars, best physio, stop googling, start booking

Alex built me a personalised 6-week running plan to improve my running strength and speed - I would definitely recommend to others with the same aim! The whole experience was extremely professional and the plan was really detailed and personalised based on my abilities. Alex checked in with me regularly and gave me recommendations throughout! I will be asking Alex to help me with marathon training next.
