Paolo Francis Gallery

We had 3 pieces of my late mothers jewellery box framed, it looked stunning and very reasonably priced. They did excellent work, although not the fasted but worth the wait.

My mother and I have used Paolo for many years for framing paintings and we have never been disappointed. Paolo gives good advice and the framing has always been a high standard. Prices are very reasonable. There are also some lovely paintings for sale. Well worth a visit.

Recommended by friends, we entrusted a much loved original water colour to Paolo Francis for framing. The helpful, courteous advice we received on frame selection through to the precision framing and obvious skill shown in the finished article was much appreciated. It now sits, pride of place, in our lounge and we would unhesitatingly recommend this gallery to others.

Just visited Paolo's gallery, and he was lovely and helpful. We were there for some time, a little spoiled for choice and indecisive but we didn't feel rushed at all. He has a great eye for framing with a lot of options! We definitely recommend!

I can't actually write a review about the work of this company as I was made to feel most unwelcome. I am a disabled woman and asked if they had a chair so I could sit on whilst looking at frames. A woman who was totally disinterested told me they only had a small stool which was not for my purpose. She promised I would get a phone call by the following Wednesday. It never happened so I did not bother turning up to the allotted appointment on the Friday.
Thank you for making me feel so worthless, I guess as a disabled person my money is equally so.

When I went with some photos to frame, the gentleman (I assume it was Mr Francis) had suffered an injury to his hand while doing some framing, and asked us to come back in a couple of weeks. But as I'm about to travel, he agreed to listen to what I wanted done. He was very kind and patient, took the trouble to recommend a couple of frames and advise on types of border and so on, all while suffering with his hand in a heavy bandage. The shop really is an art gallery, with original paintings for sale and prints as well, it's a lovely little place if you're looking for reasonably-priced original artwork and quality framing service.

We've been having our various pictures and prints framed here for several years now,. Paolo has never disappointed in his politeness and helpfulness, always giving good advice, and his work is always to a fantastic standard for a reasonable price.
