Pure Framing

Jo framed an oil painting and four pencil drawings for us during the summer, and they are now nicely displayed in our home. The quality of her work is superb. The materials are first class and the framing perfect. I liked the consultation prior to the framing, so that Jo understood exactly what we wanted, and I had a clear idea of what was going to happen. I also appreciated the options presented by Jo, so that an informed decision could be made regarding type of frame, glass, etc. Jo finished the job in the agreed time frame and took great care of our art while she was working on the pieces. I'm also glad that she has kept the specifications on file, because we'll be bringing another couple of pieces to her that we want framed as part of the same set. Overall we are very happy with Pure Framing and Jo's high standard of expertise and training.

This project has taken me two years and is ongoing. Throughout Jo has helped me realise my vision. Jo's attention to detail, careful consideration of every aspect of the framing process has meant whatever challenges came up she solved. She is a perfectionist and her frames become part of the artwork itself. Thank you Jo and look forward to working with you again after Lockdown!

Jo is friendly and very helpful and has a very good selection of materials to choose from. I gave Jo 3 pieces that were 38 years old that had few issues, but the finish product was excellent. I will definitely use her again.

Jo is a thoroughly professional framer. She has done several pictures for me and they are all beautifully finished. Jo is friendly and helpful when you are deciding which frame suits your work without in any way influencing you and gives each piece the time it needs so it's in safe hands. Jo recently completed two very personal pieces for me, one of which was a limited edition, signed copy record of my favourite band. Not an easy task as the record included a number of hidden sections. Jo made the task look easy and suggested ideas that I would not have thought possible, for example, the backing for the entire piece is black velvet. It was a fantastic idea and really sets the end piece apart from other pieces I have seen throughout my searches of similar projects.

Jo took the time to sit with me and talk about my various pieces and only when I was happy did she agree to take them on. Her expertise is reflected in her explanation/communication skills and end product.

I would highly recommend Jo and will most definitely seek her out for more projects including framed photographs of my up and coming wedding day.
