I have just completed my first term of Pilates on the recommendation of my Doctor following 3 heavy children with in a relatively short period.. I had previously been really struggling with a painful back but I can already feel a massive difference. Elle and Evie are both great - really personable and approachable. The classes are friendly & welcoming yet also challenging. I can already see an improvement in my ability and my back pain has really reduced. I look forward to the classes each week as they are a peaceful hour away from my busy life. Elle & Evie were recommended to me by a number of people and I can totally understand why now!

A lovely studio with amazing teachers. Everyone’s so friendly and the classes are small enough that things can be personally tailored to you if there’s any bits your body isn’t able to manage. Pilates has massively helped me with my lower back pain and I really enjoy the classes. Thank you!

I have only just started here but Elle made me feel so welcome right from the start. I had never done any reformer Pilates before but everyone made me feel so at ease I soon lost my initial anxiety about what I was doing! Would thoroughly recommend.

From the first session at BPS we have felt welcomed, encouraged and supported!

Classes have always been appropriate and tailored to the abilities of the class they are teaching.

If you haven't tried Pilates why not give it a go. You won't find a more helpful or friendly place to start than BPS.

I’ve been attending BPS for the last couple of years and I love it. After suffering ongoing back and neck pain for years it has given me the confidence and skills to feel so much better and maintain much better physical health. I love my classes, they are structured, clear, very helpful and fun. The teachers are very careful with every student and always help correct anything we might not do during class which is so important in Pilates. The studio is such a happy, calm and nurturing place I would recommend it to everybody.

I live in Glasgow and started Pilates classes on Zoom just over a year ago. Elle and Evie are so friendly and committed to Pilates. I love how they always check with everyone how their bodies are doing. At each exercise they give extra support and advice to anyone who needs an alternative movement.
One year on I have vastly improved my core strength and general balance and flexibility.
I wish I lived closer to attend the studio classes when they reopen in May.

I've been coming to Bristol Pilates Studio for a few years now and absolutely love the classes. I have done mat classes for well over a decade and felt that Elle has not only a in depth knowledge of Pilates (I've attended the odd class elsewhere that seem to pick it up on YouTube and call themselves a teacher) but also gets to know you, your body and your limitations enabling the class to be adaptive for you and your body. Elle is great at focusing on pushing boundaries where you can and exploring many areas of the body and pilates rather than sticking to one format. Over the last year I've used the equipment and I wouldn't have done this without Elle leading it but I've really enjoyed using it. I've also had Evie cover some classes and find her to be just as adaptable and encouraging. The thing I love the most though is the class is so welcoming, we're free to talk, laugh and enjoy the class rather than stretch in silence which as my small amount of me time a week is much needed.

I started Pilates after I sprained my ankle badly to try and build the strength back up. Elle and Evie were recommend by my physio - haven't regretted the decision to try something new! A couple of years later and I'm still going as enjoy the personalised approach to mat classes and the fact we can have fun on the way! Elle and Evie rock!
