Nice restaurant in a centric road in Cambridge. The food was good 😋 and the staff very friendly and professional.

What a lovely family owned Italian restaurant. It was our first time visiting Cambridge and the service alone from Maurizo Dining would bring us back. A special thank you to Liam (manager) for making our dining experience so memorable.

Tasty, fresh Italian food made by actual Italians who understand the importance of authentic, fresh ingredients. Fair prices and very friendly staff, I would definitely visit again.

Welcome back to R&H's crazy food reviews.
This time we espressoed our interest in Italian cuisine by heading to Maurizio Dining & Co.

The ambiance was perfect, with candle lit tables and a rustic atmosphere. The service was decent but we found ourselves waiting on drinks and the bill. The food was decently priced for Cambridge, with a pepperoni pizza costing us £14. Finally, the food was fine but nothing particularly amazing, wouldn't recommend it to pizza fans.

I've left several Google reviews in the past few years, often claiming that the food is great. But wow, I feel like I need to alter stars on other reviews as never have I been to somewhere so welcoming and experienced the most incredible food.

From the minute we entered the restaurant, Maurizio was so welcoming and took time to come and chat to us even though we later learnt that he spends time in the kitchen too. He introduced us to his homemade tomato sauce and chilli relish about 3 minutes after stepping through the door. I actually felt as though I was visiting family, I was made to feel so comfortable.

We chose bruschetta and the dirty bread for starters. I would never in a million years chosen the dirty bread, but Maurizio sold it so well with the homemade tomato sauce and chilli relish - no regrets, would highly recommend.

The special of the day was tortellini in the homemade tomato sauce, which my partner opted for and I went for an 'easy cheasy' with mushrooms and olives - both fantastic and very tasty.

To top it all off we couldn't leave without trying the chocolate salame (homemade, of course - there's a running theme here!), Which was outstanding!

To Maurizio, your partner and your team... We had such a wonderful evening and when next in the area we will be sure to return.

This place is amazing and the owner is wonderful. Such attention to detail and ensuring that we ordered the right amount of starters / mains. Recommended good wines for each course. The pasta / pizzas are all fresh and delicious. This place is a must and we will return soon. Akashi was great serving us. Thank you

Really top Italian food. I had pizza with ragu on so best of both worlds and it was delicious. There wasn't much atmosphere but we went on a quiet Wednesday in January. I'm sure there would be loads of atmosphere on a weekend 🙂

We tried their pizza and, although I can't say ingredients were bad, the dough was. No structure, no leavening, and an overall unpleasant experience.
The bruschetta was prepared with their home-made bread, which unfortunately is disappointing as well. Even the garlic looked old and shredded rather than cut.
The service was good, the price reasonable and the venue clean, but I don't think I will give them another chance.
