Mamma Mia Pizzeria Summertown

Mumma Mia really do make the best pizzas in town (if not Italy) - loved the MARGHERITA DI BUFALA CRUDA.. My daughter's birthday and without prompting added candles to her cake and sang happy birthday. Staff are warm and friendly - highly recommended.

Lovely little slice of Italy in Oxford. Very friendly staff and great service. Pizza was cooked to perfection. Nice andante pasta. Good selection of wines. Reasonable prices.

Lovely food and great friendly service. It was surprisingly busy at 530pm wen we went which is a good sign of a local restaurant being popular.

The food was quick to come which suited us and very good value.

My only one comment is about how much garlic is in the food! There’s way too much.

Superb pizza restaurant with some great veggie options, delicious ice cream and wonderful staff. We've been visiting as a family since moving down here back in the 90s and always enjoy the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Great little authentic feeling Italian place. Service was a little slow but that’s to be expected on a busy Friday night. The food was all piping hot and delicious which more than made up for the wait. The chocolate cake was a little dry but I would recommend the profiteroles in its place. Certainly worth a visit, but it is very busy so make sure you book in advance.

Great quality, authentic Italian pizza and pasta! A wide range of starters, mains, desserts, and hot, cold, and alcoholic beverages, and the food that we had especially was delicious and very filling. Superb staff who are very attentive and chatty too, who also provide a quick and professional service throughout the meal. A very nice decor inside, and although a little cramped, it's definitely very homely! Would happily return, as well as try out their other restaurant in Jericho, and would easily recommend for a decent meal! 🇮🇹🍽️🍝🍕🤌🏻

We were looking for an Italian restaurant in Oxford to go to on our way back from The Cotswolds to Bushey. Google mentioned a few restaurants which we called to get a last minute booking but there was only space at Mama Mia. We mainly had Pizzas at Mama Mia. These are the best Pizzas I have had in the UK so far. They are so light and super tasty. I usually cannot finish a whole pizza to myself but can easily gobble these ones and still be hungry enough to eat maybe a dessert or something else. I have been here twice now and loved it both times. I will definitely be making future trips to Summertown all the way from Bushey (Watford) to have them delicious pizzas 🍕 😋!
