Papa Johns Pizza

***WARNING*** Wish I could put less than one star for this Papa John’s! Honestly think an eleven year old could have planned it out better. So tried to order on the website and it just didn’t work with us, understandably technically does let us down from time to time. We gave it a second shot by calling in and ordering over the phone, he was bright enough to get our order down. The order was confirmed at 17:30 and was told it would take about 45 minutes because he has one driver and there are three orders in front of ours. Fair enough he gave us a time scale and 45 minutes is more or less what we expected. After an hour and twenty minutes I thought it would be a good idea to call and follow up with my order. I was told not to worry as it will be another 15 to 20 minutes because they only have one driver. The driver was no where to be seen 40 minutes later! Called in for the third time to follow up on the pizza! He said that the driver is 20 minutes away! I replied from us or the shop? He said the shop but our pizza is ready for him when he gets here and that we are now 10th in the que as he had 13 orders now and 9 people are before us! I then lost my cool and he said that it will be with us in 25 minutes! 25 minutes later I called back to say I would come and collect the pizza myself but before I could say that he said the driver is on his way to our house! Then I said “ok cool, I was just about to leave to pick the pizza up myself.” He replied saying “Thanks, the pizza will be here ready for you”. I then lost it and said so the driver doesn’t have the pizza then! He said it will be with me shortly! We got our two pizzas at 20:00!!! Two and a half hours later! I will never order from this place ever again! After eating a few pieces of our pizza my girlfriend and I felt nauseous! I think the food that they are cooking with is expired or not kept at the right temperature or something! We had two completely different pizzas but hey both feel like getting sick after having a couple of slices, this is not normal!

Better Ingrediants and truly a fab pizza. Great deal of offer now too for a large at £8. Nice limited selections and limited base.

Hopefully next time, should remind myself to order limited edition black ghost chilli wings ;)

Desserts are nice, sides and pizza taste like some greasy takeout definitely not going back

They hygiene score is 1 out of 5 it fully put me off from ordering you have to extremely dangerously dirty for that rating

My boyfriend and I loved paper johns since it’s was what we had on our first proper date and it was amazing yet since then they have been going down hill. our food has arrived cold or, usually comes with with the wrong toppings or wrong order completely and the there no way to leave a review or concern with the restaurant itself. We used to love them but it’s seems to be going down hill.

I wanted to try a papa johns for awhile so ordered on line for a delivery to work. The pizza never came, I double checked all delivery detail, branch confirmation and payment but waseft hungry.

I called the next day to chase the missing order and try and get the long awaited pizza but was told they never received a order and it is there online system and it would automatically be refunded.

after more pizza free days still no refund so I called as I did not want to pay twice for the same pizza and was asked the address and told i think we did delivery near that address??? not to me then told il get a call back as no manager available.

I really would love to buy a pizza from papa johns but the service just left me very hungry and out of pocket stick to dominos in future

So, I am glad that I collected as they had run out of cheese. How a pizza place can run out of cheese is a bit worrying. They sent someone to Cardiff to get some more. We came back after 15 minutes and they gave us a free large bottle of Pepsi so I am not too unhappy.

If I could rate this 0, this is where this franchise would stand.
Don't pay workers on time, sometimes not at all, clearly can't provide basic skills to run a pizza delivery service. Complaints don't get dealt with, lack of respect towards workers, customers & food, wouldn't reccommend.
