It's a cosy and friendly place. Their Stone Rock Star burger is immaculate and highly recommended if you're a beef lover. The outdoor seating area is excellent for good weather with beautiful flowers.

I have had the pleasure of having Stone Rock takeaway once during lockdown (burger) and recently finally got to dine in at the restaurant (pizza). Before I get to the food, let me say the restaurant has a beautiful 'beer garden' hidden away at the back that is a real gem, overlooking an herb garden! Onto the food: while the burger was very good and arguably one of the best you will find in Chepstow, boasting local ingredients, a thick meaty patty, and high quality look and taste, the stand out has to be their pizza. A sourdough that takes me back to pizza I had in Naples! Perhaps unsurprisingly authentic considering the Italian staff, the pizzas were delicious and left me wanting more. If I had to fault the restaurant for anything, it would be calling chips "fries". Reassuringly, they were delicious nonetheless (though I got a lot more of them in person than when I ordered the burger a while back to takeaway). Finally, you can't go wrong with either the Nutella pizza or gelato, just depends how full you are and what time of year it is. Combine that with great staff and this is a real standout restaurant for little Chepstow. The awards are well deserved and I can't wait to eat there again!

Pizzas were…ok. Has an Italian vibe but taste wise didn’t blow us away from reading the other reviews. A couple of our pizzas were even missing ingredients like basil and rocket, nothing major so wasn’t really worth complaining about. Drinks took ages to serve and water had to be requested twice even though the place was not busy. Worth visiting if you have visitors with dietary requirements, they cater for vegans and gluten free.

Tried this for the first time last night. Great little place. Cosy, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Pizza was brilliant - I had the Forest of Dean and it was delicious. Desserts also spot on. Wine was a bit expensive but I'm still eager to go back and try more of the pizzas. Fully recommend it

I ordered the Forest of Dean pizza - good size and very tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked the fact that theu had some nice local mead with honey from the bees from Wye Valley. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I recommend the place for the good food and relaxing atmosphere.

Amazing food, brilliant service. My husband and I had stopped after a long bike ride and they were more than happy to take our bikes through to the back to keep them safe whilst we ate. The courtyard out the back was beautiful and the food was incredible!!

We loved it here, only down side is that we booked a table but still had to wait around 20 minutes, but the food was so good can't warrant knocking off a star. Lovely authentic Italian pizzas, great choice on menu for veggie (and vegan) options too which was impressive. Service was pretty good and the waiters were lovely and attentive (but not over bearing) and made us all laugh with their sense of humour. Seating was in a marquis with heaters, lovely comfortable area to enjoy our pizzas and drinks. Highly recommended 🙂

Ordered take away meals at a busy time and was able to stay in the bar area with a drink whilst I waited. Lovely pizza base, focaccia and chips
