Star Pizza, Kebab & Burger

Good value, good food, quick on delivery and freshly cooked which we loved. Will be ordering from here again. Better than the ‘dominoes/pizza hut’ pizzas any day!

Always used to buy from Star Pizza as found it the best Kebab Shop in town. But lately all went downhill, don't know if they had staff change or what, but will definitely not use them again. First of all everything is covered in oil the fries bag had a big hole on it from the oil. The delivery guy got lost and been late, that's not the biggest problem but shop forgot to put in my sons food. He was crying hungry, shop said 10minutes and they will be with me. Waited about 40 minutes for food to arrive. Also the chicken donner is more dryer and smaller pieces as used to be nothing taste the same anymore. Not even a compensation for 1 hour late wait for my sons food.
Oh and I forgot to mention the strawberries on my cheesecake were still frozen.
Avoid!!!

I am writing this on a cold winter evening having been warmed up by the most outstanding takeaway I have ever had, I had the chicken Donner with salad and chips, I ordered with a certain aura of mystery having never ordered here before however precisely 23:47 minutes later the food had arrived, delivery driver was wearing very appropriate and suitable clothing and handed me my food with a warm smile and pleasant words, I opened up my food for the first of many pleasant surprises, as I opened the food it was piping hot, I bit into the chips first fresh to cook crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside, It felt as if I was eating the inside of a cloud the perfect blend between salt and chip, after this I had a bite of these most perfect kebab I have ever eaten the sauce was heavenly the chicken was cooked to perfection the salad was crisp I enjoyed every bite. after I had eaten this I went to sleep feeling very satisfied I will ever eat any other food unless its from the godly hands of star pizza employees could not be happier with my experience however I do have a slight feeling of melancholy knowing that nothing I will ever eat will be as good as what I have eaten from star pizza.

Got a regular size chicken donner kebab. Portion was massive. Couldn't eat it in one go

Ordered from here many times... but never again. Customer service/ care...what is this!! Refund for inconvenience...what is this!! Part of food delivered was incorrect. Told correct order will be 10 mins and give the driver the incorrect food. 20 mins later still not arrived. Told is 1 minute away, then told driver hasn't left, then told left 5 mins ago. Correct food arrived after about 40 mins not 10 -15,I told the driver to take it back with him, due to how rude the man on the phone was, the inconvenience they caused me without a care. AVOID

Star was highly recommended to me by colleagues, so I gave it a shot on NYE, mid evening. The order was chicken meat kebab, salad, chips and two pizzas. The food was delivered 30 minutes later, piping hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. The presentation was perfect, it was well prepared, tasty and I could not fault a single item. Without doubt the best takeaway food in the town. Polite, pleasant, clean, and very reasonably priced. A perfect experience, and one that I will repeat. If you haven’t tried it, you are missing out.

Ordered two chicken kebabs and chips, for collection. The food was VERY tasty, the pitta bread also tasty and not dry. Even the chips were way nicer than chip-shop stuff. The salad was neatly presented in separate trays instead of thrown-in the kebab container. Sauces were also provided separately instead of plastered on. Would have preferred to have the choice not to have the included plastic forks. Overall, very tasty with good attention to presentation. Give them a try!
