I've been visiting this mandir for almost 14 years. It holds peace and the atmosphere is very welcoming it does bring inner peace and you do receive spiritual energy. They hold events that are celebrated in the Hindu festival. You should visit during Janmashtami. The decoration is amazing and they put a lot of effort Into the place and they also hold events.

An amazing pace to visit, whether you are religious or looking to explore and understand the beliefs and the teachings there is so much here to do - and that’s on non-festival days!!!

The grounds are vast with a activity playground for children which is suitable for a wide range of ages, there is a number of flower Gardens and path ways through some woodlands. There is even a small lake with a pathway following it’s perimeter which is so calm and tranquil.

There is a number of outdoor sheltered areas as well as various vegetarian foods that be purchased on site (and all are made on site too!)

There is also a large Cowshed area where you can feed the cows for a small donation. Facilities are ample with various toilets on site and a vast amount of parking!

A truly lovely, peaceful, relaxing and spiritual place to visit.

A peaceful uplifting and serene experience. Wonderful temple set in superb grounds. Small cafe, shop and community hall with a working farm.

Peaceful place. In the Hertfordshire countryside just north of London, Bhaktivedanta Manor, complete with its farmlands, beautiful gardens and temple is a real sanctuary for the soul. Open all year round to visitors and students of ancient wisdom, the temple offers a great experience with tours of the shrine, gardens and compassionate farm. See the rooms of the famous Hare Krishna guru Srila Prabhupada, to whom George Harrison gifted this iconic mock Tudor mansion. Visitors may participate in inspirational talks, yoga classes, mantra meditation, vegetarian cooking classes and various retreats. Previously known as Piggott's Manor, the property was donated to the Hare Krishna movement in February 1973 by former Beatle George Harrison, after the Radha Krishna Temple in central London had become inadequate to house the growing number of devotees. You can feed the cows and shop for freshly made food and snacks. They serve lunch and tea to the devotees without charge. It has huge car parking space and a couple of overflow car parks. Enjoy your visit. Hare Krishna 🙏

Very peaceful and spiritual atmosphere at this Hindu temple outside Watford. George Harrison (ex-Beatle) donated this house and its grounds to the Bhaktivedanta spiritual movement. Dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radha - hence the Hare Rama, Hare Krishna chanting. The devotees not only look after this temple but do all their own farming - some crops, cows etc - on site. Food is served in a cafe within the grounds - stuff like mango lassi, sweet dishes, veg pizza, kachori, samosas, hakka noodles, coffee, masala chai, variety of Indian snacks in packets etc etc (all vegetarian and without onion or garlic I believe). Prasad is distributed at certain times - check before going. Definitely recommended!

A wonderful place for everyone who is seeking solace on the midst of busy life.

Spiritually uplifting, and spread over a huge area.
Happy people, happy cows, great food.

You can book halls for private functions as well. The arrangement was impeccable, the prasadam were really great.

Would highly recommend.

Everyone must visit once atleast. Only problem is transportation if you don't have your own car bit difficult to reached temple as its far from watford station.
