Yes, this is Shia/Syiah mosque. But if you want to try, I think they welcome all Muslim. When we arrived this place, we pushed the bell and someone answered but he said the mosque is closed and will be opened tomorrow for jumah. We told him that we want to pray for Asar but we thought he might don’t understand what we were saying (language barrier). After trying many times, someone else suddenly opened the door and allowed us praying inside. He was a kind person with good hospitality, he welcomed us even though we are not part of Shia. I saw lots of Syiah stone (Karbala) that they used for praying beside the entrance door. However when we prayed together with the one who opened the door for us, he didn’t use that stone and the way he was praying was normal, so I doubt he is also syiah or not. Before we left, he gave us fruits.
I don’t forbid you to come to this mosque if you want to try, but if you still have chance to find another mosque it will be better.

It’s so sad to see some of the reviews of our brothers or sisters on the place of God . This place was built purely for love of God . This place is the house of God. I am so ashamed even when it comes to God we still want to divide his followers. Some have written normal prayer????
Whether you are Sunni or Shitt Muslim , your responsibility is to god to pray . Stop judging the house of God and how people pray . You are not allowed to judge others so unkindly. This place was built with God in heart by Iranian or Arab or African doesn’t matter .You are there to worship God not judge his house.

Irrespective of whether this is a Shia or Sunni masjid, we should all be welcomed for prayers, it's house of god.
We are all tested at various times in our lives and we should stay positive and stay united. Tests such as going to a masjid only to realise they are closed . The sawaab for walking there may be worth more than the prayer and Allah knows best. I know this is easier said than done so I'm saying this my self first and foremost. I used to be a Shia and attended this masjid as a teenager and now I'm a Sunni and would still go to any house of god to pray.

Islamic Universal Association is one of the best shia mosque in London!
Shia people never leave negative review for Suni mosques. Either we go to their mosques or not.
Unfortunately I read all negative reviews from suni people here!

Amazing mosque with a good atmosphere & very welcoming. However, It's sad to see the low ratings that have been purposely put up by some Sunnis.

This is a place of Worship primarily for Farsi-Speaking Muslims. Please see the website for events or call them to see if they are open. I particularly recommend Eid Prayers here. It's in a beautiful location with pay and display parking available.
